Same old Jazz. Can't beat bad teams on the road.

Sigh.

Still, we're a little banged up, there is always hope we'll not continue this trend once Deron comes back. We had a devil of a time breaking their defense when Boozer wasn't out there. Having Deron should help with that.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Boozer should have known better. Him going out for silly foul trouble really affected us, and specially the rotation.

I thought we didn't need Boozer because we have AK and Millsap.

A disappointing loss for sure. But honestly, should we really be surprised? The Achilles heel of this team has been exactly this; losing on the road to teams they should beat. Not having D-Will provides an easy excuse, but...

Looking at the box score, the only thing that really jumps out is the Knicks 11-24 (.458) on threes. But we should be used to that by now. Okay, there was the complete collapse on both ends of the court in the third quarter as well.

So for me, disappointed, not surprised but not ready to declare this year's Jazz "road kill" just yet.

Not ultimately. But Millsap getting into foul trouble didn't help either. It was a bit shady seeing a Price-Brewer-Okur-Korver-Miles lineup.

Jazz just got sloppy. Too many turnovers.

The amount of talent needed to be an elite team is there. This should be the "year of thoughness".... and that mean to defeat those teams that usually have been trouble for us. Not a good way to start to lose again @Knicks.

Is there a chance we could get the Knicks pick this year?

I'm surprised that the Knicks are 4-2, and just wondering if someone could give me details on the pick they owe us. I know it's unprotected next year, but if they make the playoffs this year will we get the mid-rounder?

It kinda makes this loss suck double.

I don't think so. The pick is top 22 protected this year. Knicks might be better and even make the playoffs, but I don't see they having a top 8 record in the league.
