Jazz lose Okur

Apparently a family illness has called him away from the Jazz. Obviously family comes first so hopefully everything works out well for Memo and hope for a speedy recovery for his family and quick return to the Jazz.

I suppose Fesenko and/or Koufos can get some burn then... anyway, the Jazz have to show they can manage road/hard games without all firepower available...
My best wishes to Okur and his family.

Stinks for the team, but I hope all goes well for Okur and the family. Lets just hope for big nights from Fesenko and Koufos.

I hope everything works out for Memo and his family. We really need Fesenko and or Koufos to give us some quality minutes now.

I think Fes will probably start and play about 5 minutes in the 1st and the 3rd quarters. Jazz will probably go small and let AK and Sap play a little more. Or not. Hope all goes well for Memo.

Family before all else. I hope whoever it is makes it through okay.

As for what we'll do with him out, it'll be right into the fire for Koufos and Fes, neither of whom have looked very competent in garbage time so far in the regular season. But at least we'll get a look at them.

We won't live or die on them, though. We'll obviously be playing a lot of small ball too.

Looking foward to seeing Kufos get some meaningful minutes.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Hope all will be well for the Okur family. That is the important thing.

I also hope this doesnt signal the return of Collins. I truly hope that all it means is Kosta gets to play a little bit.

Welcome to the beginning of the future of the Jazz center position.

Honestly I have high hopes for this kid.
