B Diddy for Durant

Post#1 » by Mikchek » Thu Nov 6, 2008 7:40 pm

I'm in a 12 team H2H keeper league with standard cats...we get to keep 5 players and a 6th that must be a rookie or a sophomore...my team is getting off to a slow start...the players that I drafted for certain stats aren't getting those stats...I'm last in 3s...last in assist...but I do feel like I can turn it around when the players get comfortable on their new teams...I was just offered Bdiddy for Durant...do you think I should bite?

here is my team:

PG
Mike Bibby (Atl - PG)
Kevin Durant (OKC - SG,SF)
Danny Granger (Ind - SG,SF)
Caron Butler (Was - SF)
Tyrus Thomas (Chi - SF,PF)
Tim Thomas (LAC - SF,PF)
Amare Stoudemire (Pho - PF,C)
Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Cle - C)
T.J. Ford (Ind - PG)
Andrew Bynum (LAL - C)
Devin Harris (NJ - PG)
Ronnie Brewer (Uta - SG,SF)
Yi Jianlian (NJ - PF)
Andray Blatche (Was - PF,C)
Francisco Garcia (Sac - SG,SF)

in a keeper league, there are very few people i would trade durant for. baron isn't one of them.

Very tough call. I also have Durant in a keeper league and I don't plan to touch him unless it's in a package for Lebron, Wade or what not. His fantasy ceiling is so high and he's hitting his shot nicely lately.

There are a few other PGs you could get for maybe cheaper and buy low (Session, Foye, Conley or even Felton) . The season is fairly young so might be early for such a high impact deal, give it at least another week.

I definitely wouldn't do it in a keeper league.

yeah that makes a lot of sense. I just picked up Telfair off the WW...and he has offered pretty good assist...the people I picked up for assist like Ford and Harris (before injury) also started to beef up his assist numbers..
