I dont know what to think about this game. I guess it depends on which Timberwolves team shows up. Nice game thread im guessing your going for all 82 this year?

Also holy sh*t at Biedrins' numbers.

LOL, I was just wondering who the next wing to light us up would be. Then I saw Stephen Jackson: 22 ppg.

This should be a fun game. High scoring, no defense. Wolves are due for a win so I'm predicting they take this one. (How's that for being positive?)

considering that Nelson played some Dleaguers in the 4th quarter vs the Kings I think we might have a chance to win this game due to some tank job

I think our starters are just as good as theirs (without Monta or Al Harrington), and our bench is better.

I dont necessarily want to do all 82 games, but if you guys want, i can..... not a big deal.

Let me know if you want to make one and i wont post one that game.

P.S. Biedrin's numbers are crazy! but hopefully Al and Love will be able to hold him for less..... Hopefully.

I hope Wolves build on last game's promise and don't regress. I hate regression.

Why didn't Bassy get his whole last name on there?

Andris Biedrins has been amazing.

Also, the Timberwolves are at the bottom of both the ESPN and NBA.com power rankings.

Was it because you wanted to stay a lottery team with us, because you didn't want to make a fair offer like BOS did with Al Jefferson, or because you wanted the "aging Kevin Garnett" to give that national championship to BOS and not you?

Some of your posters really made some pretty insulting KG offers back then, coupled with insulting KG.

Moore doesnt really help with our defensive or rebounding issues, he is a taller version of Gomes. Wilcox is an offensive PF as well. I dont think either will really make much of a difference, just make us good enough to not get a top 2 pick.

Gomes has more value than that. In the past, he's been seen as worth a late teens pick, and his sweet contract probably doesn't make that value worse (though limiting his playing time might drive his value down). There have always been several posters interested in adding Gomes to their favorite team.

We havent exactly been driving up his value though. We need to start using him at SF where he can make smart plays and post up smaller players. Dude is good but he is being forced to be something he isnt, story of the team.

I agree with you 100%.

If trader-shrink ran the team, I'd make sure Gomes, Craig Smith, Telfair, and McCants all got plenty of minutes up until Dec. 15th, and on that day we evaluate whether they are good for the future of the team, or more valuable as a trade commodity. It might cost us a few games, but we'd probably get max value out of them, and then we could gear up for an even better team in the future.

haha "trader-shrink". You would play Telfair-McCants-Carney-Gomes-Smith together for at least 30MPG if you ran the team just so you could post trade ideas here.
