Knicks, GSW, Mavericks?

Post#1 » by Blind0188 » Fri Nov 7, 2008 10:35 pm

A good friend of mine that goes by the name "Jigsaw" is a regular poster on the DMN website, and known for gathering stats, numbers and facts to backup any trade proposal, kind of like Jes12.

Anyway, Jigsaw came up with a 3 way trade between the Knicks, GSW and the Mavericks that looks a bit like this.

Dallas sends Jerry Stackhouse and Erick Dampier
Dallas Receives Eddy Curry, Nate Robinson and Anthony Randolph

Knicks sends Eddy Curry, Nate Robinson, David Lee and Wilson Chandler
Knicks Receives Al Harrington, Jerry Stackhouse and Marcus Williams

GSW sends Al Harrington, Anthony Randolph, and Marcus Williams
GSW Receives Erick Dampier, David Lee, Wilson Chandler

I didn't bother to get all of the stats and numbers that Jigsaw added, because I want to go out and enjoy my Friday, but I will find the link to his post and post it here later on.

So what are your thoughts?

I proposed
Harrington to NYC,
Curry to Dallas and
Damp to GSW.

but that won't work for several reasons I think... stupid :)

I seriously doubt NY would give up both Lee & Chandler. Those are two of the few players they have that actually play hard and the right way, and even Nate Robinson despite his size, is a very good 6th man off the bench who can score. I dont think they get anything close to what they would want, even getting to dump Curry & his contract. Good lukc getting New York to agree to that

I don't know if there is a way for Dallas to be the third wheel in the GSW/Knicks trade, we have a lot of people that can't be moved until the 15th, and the rest are either people we NEED to keep or Erick Dampier and Stackhouse... don't get me wrong.. I love Stack.. sometimes. :x

Any trade in which Dallas trades Dampier's 2 year deal for Fatty's 3 year deal is an automatic no from me.

So what incentive is Dallas supposed to have for taking on Curry? Anthony Randolph plus we lose our starting center to take on a do nothing that can't even get on the court with NY. NOT HAPPENING you'd need to give us Crawford to make that deal worthwhile

Theres no need for this at all. Watch how you express yourself during the future....consider this a warning. HMFFL

 That is so cute. Are all GSW fans this dillusional? I remember last year when several GSW fans said that they would not trade Biedrens for Dirk straight up. Most fans have an overinflated value of thier teams players. Seems like GSW fans have taken it to a new and ridiculous level.

Good luck getting Lebron, Dwight, Bosh...etc for freaking Randolph. If I were your GM I would hold the phone receiver a ways from my ear after proposing that to another GM. Otherwise his eardrum may be blasted into his brain.
