thats what i stated sean wouldgive beasly problems
as for this game, cant blame VC, he did the rite thing, and at the end of the day we cameup short to a healthy team,
5pts was the the difference, with harris ability we could have one, Carters scoring a little bit down, but he is adjusting to a new role, hopefully we get devin back soon...

Miami is far from healthy. Shawn Marion didnt play in this game and Dorell Wright and James Jones havent played at all yet. Magloire as well but as you all know, he isnt any good.
Tough loss for you guys. Miami had no right winning that game as they were outplayed for 3 1/2 quarters.

I guess that's the difference between carter and wade.
anyway. boone was useless, his defensive awareness is atrocious. he watches the ball and then instead of sliding in to clog the lane he watches the player drive by and make a pathetic attempt to block the ball from behind. And then afterwards he throws his head back and pouts like it was all someone else's fault. Sorry to all you boone fans. But he's wack.
Is there a double standard here? Why does boone get to be so bad and play 25-30 minutes? And Brook got some time. If Sean travels twice in a row, turns the ball over, and gives a dumb foul...wait. does he even get the time to make all of those mistakes?
In general though, aside from boone, i liked the team defensive last night. at least the effort was there as they scrambled around to cover their spots in the zone. Yi had a good night shooting and rebounding. Keyon is just shooting away which is frustrating but at least he was making them last night.

Disappointing loss. Yi had a great game, and his trade value is getting higher. Harris is sorely missed. Its games like these that the Nets should win. I do question why Boone and Simmons were in the game so late, knowing they were having bad games.

That would imply Yi is actually a candidate to be traded this year. i think it's safe to say management had him pegged as one the few untouchables for this team along with Devin and Brook..

Can somebody please show Boone how to shoot a free throw? This has gone long enough; he's not a dominant enough force to remain out on the floor when they start fouling him, and he may even become a detriment to the team if they start doing a hack-a-boone.
I predicted a net's loss tonight and I was correct; this team simply isn't good enough to win without devin harris, and even that can sometimes be a stretch.
The worst part of this game was seeing players like Bobby Simmons and Najera getting playing time over younger players. It makes absolutely no sense to me why these veterans are playing over players like Ryan Anderson and Sean Williams.

watched this off my DVR yesterday...managed to stay away from scores...very disappointing...a new team like the Nets w/ a starter out, pg no less...Your always expect mistakes, TOs, ect...but we made too many in the end and didnt capitalize when we should of...Wade, whatever...we had enough to weather the storm, up until the last 5 min...(on and off w/ decisions and TOs...)
there were a lot good things that came out of this loss, which have mentioned, but I want to concentrate on what we need...or what I dont like about the Nets...(new thread)

What was disappointing was that veteran players like Carter and Dooling were the ones making the most blatant mistakes at the end of the game =/

Vince had a great game, but made a couple of bad choices including a 3pt shot he knew he shouldnt of taken in the last several minutes...as for Dooling, what we got from him in absence of Devin, I personally couldnt of asked for more...though I agree they both made blatant mistakes which probably cost the Nets the game...
