Gamethread Signup (Record-Tracking on pg.1)

Okay people, we need to know just who wants to make gamethreads around here. My reputation precedes me, and every now and then Millertime manages to poop out a passable effort. However, can I get a list of individuals who want a crack at it so we can get a cycle going. Eliminate the in-fighting, and get a gamethread up in timely manner. Ji need not apply.

Making this an announcement (one of the few things you've ever created that's worthy of a sticky/announcement).

We need more posters who take the initiative with game-threads. There's no right or wrong game-thread, and there's no maximum or minimum (just ask JWiz) amount of information you can put into one.

You guys want me to make one? I made the game thread for the big win against Philly a week before the playoffs which clinched the fifth seed and the upset of Dallas last November.

I think the chat room is a dead issue. I imagine it's an issue of cost versus actual use. Apparently we were the only board with the superior intellect and gregarious sociability to utilize properly the benefits of a chat room versus one line posts during a game.

Nah ah. I'm going to relish doing that gamethread. As soon as he is, it'll be first one to get it up. I guarantee nobody on the board will rip EFJ a new blowhole the way I'm going to. :devil:

i love this passion, honestly, i am watching games not to see the wiz win but to see how close EFJ gets to getting Furrd

OK, I guess I'll do one, but I can't post on weekends and if you want me to do the Atlanta game for tonight I have to know real soon and the thread will set a new standard of suckage.

Edit: Ran out of time, leaving office early today. Have to do it another game. For future reference, may one just seize the job after any loss like in the old days, or is one supposed to wait for permission from a mod these days?

i'm not really sure if I should make a game thread. Part of me wants to see us lose so that EJ will get himself fired, but part of me wants us to win because, well, it's fun to see a W.

we might win with my 17-10 lifetime record, so I can't risk a winning streak with EJ being close (hopefully) to being fired....i'm not sure if it's worth it
