Dee has been 50/50. Our coach loved him in camp. He said that he hasnt had a guy this fast in a long time and that Dee was like a coach on the floor and is always talking. The problem is that we still had 1 spot open and a little bit of money left and Gilbert convinced our GM to bring Juan back. Our coach also loved Juan when he was here. Juan was hurt early and Dee was the primary backup but as time went on, Juan started playing awesome. He had 11 assist the other night off the bench and looks way better then Ive ever seen him as a pro(atleast when he's coming off the bench). When Dee gets in he always plays well and is a great passer but he's just behind AD & Dixon right now.
After we blew those games the coach said he's trying to be loyal to the vets but he wont stay that way if it keeps up. He talked about how the young guys on the 2nd unit have outplayed the vets the last few games. Then he came out the next day and said he was wrong about that. He said that its really been that way since the start of camp. That the guys on the 2nd unit have been way better then the starters other then Caron & AJ. He said he will make changes soon if things dont start looking different but I know he doesnt want too and he's hoping the vets step up. Deshawn is just Deshawn. He's average at best without Gil. He's very streaky. With Gil he's like the best SG in the leauge because his D is lights out and Gil gets him open shot after open shot. He never misses. Without Gil he has to score on his own and he's not that good at it. Daniels is just too old to keep up with guys now and he has the worst J in the league which makes it easy for the D to just cave in on Caron & AJ. Etan is trying and has played solid some games but he's just too small for most Centers and he's lost on D compared to Haywood who gives us that big presence
