Starbury wants to be a Spurbury
Hmm not sure i want Starbury on this team, i'm liking Hills development with Parker out. Once Parker is back if we had Marbury it would seriously eat into Hill's time. Although i;d rather have Steph over Vaughn any day of the week. Vaughn is trash.

Re: Starbury wants to be a Spurbury
u know, the season has started badly, when starbury will come to saivior!
I dont want him, or only as our backup pointguard backing up hill...and I dont think he wants to do that.
lets give the open minutes to hill and maybe some to mason...udoka and tolliver should get their chances too, so we at least can get something positive out of that whole injury disaster...and maybe we win enough games to be ready when wie get manu and tony back...I'm fine with an 8th spot!...3rd team to win 8vs1!!!

F that. That would just stunt George's development. It'd be Nick Van Exel/Beno Udrih 2.0.

except Marbury is 10 times the player either of those guys were as Spurs..
I'd take Marbury any day and play him as a backup SG..our rotation would be deep as ****..it would obviously have to be the right price though..Steph has a lot to prove and this would be a perfect time to get him..

I'd welcome Steph on this team... when he's motivated (and would be here on a consistent basis), he's a very good player, and is an above-average defender (see lots of 06-07). He'd add a new dimension to the team and bench.

This reminds me of Dominique Wilkins coming to the Spurs.

I'm sure he could post 13 pts 3 assists and 2 or 3 dimes for the Spurs being the best point guard in the league but i'm not convinced that Pop and Rc Bufford would sign Nutcase.

Im just an outsider and this post is OT
but do you guys think you will go after Rasheed Wallace in the off-season. I think he will accept the MLE and a frontcourt of Rasheed and Duncan will be as good as Duncan and Robinson were. Im no Spur fan but that would be a scary team with Manu and Parker being healthy.

The wiretap up above now makes it a real possibility. I like Marbury and wish him well but unfortunately he is tagged as a ball hog and a nut case and not liked well on RGM. Who knows? Maybe being inactive by Mike D has changed him so that he would adjust his game had he the opportunity to play for a real contender. He still has some game left in his tank.

If he's available sign him, Spurs are a veteran team with great coaching leadership, he can't be a cancer only get in line and produce or ride the pine. It's worth it, the media perception is garbage anyway, he's worth a chance with the current state the teeam is in.

The idea of Marbury intrigues me a little bit, but in all honesty I'd rather just give Hill the minutes and have Vaughn as a placeholder for a while. The youth movement is my main interest this season.

dont see marbury being welcome with open arms to SA, too much baggage, but he might be a nice addition if he cant throw all his attitude out.

The number of teams who have figured out that they're better off without Stephon Marbury far exceeds the number of teams who figured out they're better with him. Pass. The guy's a cancer.
