Lays it on the line every play

That works for me.

Imagine the speed/quickness he would have if he shed some weight?

I hope so :D

This kid sounds really promising, especially for an undrafted. I'm calling another steal for the Saints.

And on that note, why do I call these people kids when they are older than I?

:dontknow:

Guys, I watched Walter Thomas at OSU when he played there (freshman year). He was a run-stuffer for sure; when OSU played UCLA, there was a play during which he took on two blockers at once (one with each arm) and still managed to get into the backfield. I don't remember if the play ended up as a rush for a loss or a pass thrown away, but it was very impressive either way. Walter's a huge guy, and is very agile for his size. Good luck with him, he should be a good one!

That is good to hear. We could use a run stuffer in the worst way. I can see him and Hollis Thomas in on 3rd and 1.....

The best part is we really have no risk in keeping him, or at least assigning him to the practice squad.

So much for this...

Walter Thomas was cut 15 minutes into his first practice because he had to be helped off the field (I'm guessing because he was that out of shape).
