The draft will not be the same and this year or last for a little while. The talent level out there wont be the same. I dont think it's good idea to drop games intentionally. There's not as much payoff in that because we're not going to get a rose, beasley, or oden. By the end of the season we need to have our team figured out, who's in who's out, the best lineups and strategies. Doing that alone will probably land us in the lotto anyway so win win, without the actual winning.

If there is a Brandon Roy clone magically in this draft, sign me up.

With Frank, who is dropping games intentionally.

This is a legit thread at this point.

We are exactly where we were last year. We should finish with a worse record this year. I say we discuss this all season.

I am for Rubio. Move Harris to SG. If VC still here have him play SF.

Rubio - Penetration kick out
Harris - Penetration, score
VC - Catch and shoot
YI - Catch and Shoot
Lopez - post up, Score and Kick out.

If not we get a SG, Griffin or DeRozen.

DEMAR DEROZEN def he could be the 2nd coming of VC. We just need to stick to playin the guys that are going to play hard. I know we're gonna be terrible but we still need to keep the mentality that playing hard is important I don't want to be the Knicks for the next five years. Hopefully the kids get the majority of the min and we can get something decent for VC at the trade deadline.

I gotta find the article, but I could have sworn something got messed up with Rubio and now he isn't eligible for this draft or something. I heard he can't enter till the 20010 draft.

Take Rubio, and then trade him away, along with Vince, for a legit and younger two option to further entice James.

Griffin, DeRozan, Rubio, Jennings

Can't go wrong with either.

Say Hello to James Harden.

Rubio is injured right now. I am not sure how serious, nothing career ending or anything, but maybe enough to drop his draft stock from possible top 3 to no where higher then 5th?
Anyway, I had read a few places, he was looking at 2010 even before the injury, and I believe he is signed in Europe till then anyway.

I am sorry, but I just don't see Harris working permenately at SG.
Rubio is more than likely looking at the 2010 draft anyway.

It's funny, I was saying that it looks like management has told Frank to tank, even he can't be this bad a coach, can he?

Griffin is a PF in a SF's body.

BJ Mullens looks like he could be a nice player, but he is a center.

Brandon Jennings looks like he could be awesome, but he is a PG.

I love this Harden kid though.

Eh still a lot of NBA and NCAA season to go, we'll see where we wind up.

I could still see VC staying or leaving, no matter what happens this year.

If he goes to PDX, I highly doubt they give up Rudy, so I would hope we at least get Batum and either 2 1sts or Webster.

Maybe he could still wind up with the Clips and we get Eric Gordon and either Mobley or Camby.
I don't love Gordon, he is an undersized SG, listed at 6'4 but rumored to be 6'3, although he has very long arms and good lateral quicks and some nice bulk, but he can be a ballhog with bad shot selection, at least in college, hell he hasn't got a chance in the NBA yet.
Could wind up like a Ben Gordon with really good defense, which would be top notch.
The only thing is, the only game he got extended burn and produced this season is the 1 win the Clips even have, so that would be encouraging, but I don't see them giving him up.
You never know though, that would be a nice lineup even for the Clips:
PG B Diddy
SG VC
SF Thorton
PF Kaman
C Camby
