We gotta stop playing Hassell, Najera, and Simmons before Anderson and Sean.

We need our first-string PG. And we need our first-string SG to be that monster of a SG he used to be.

Carter gets doubled every time he touches the ball - what can you expect him to do? He hits the open man EVERY time and they miss the damn shot.

We have the worst 2-12 in the league.

At least Carter's value is going up... he's going to be worth something when the deadline comes around.

Come on Rich. VC was the ONLY one tonight who played with heart and tried to will this team to victory. Simmons throwing behind the back passes and missing wide open jumpshot is getting old. GIve Hayes the starting nod. Hassell getting that much time off the bench is ridiculous. I think it may be time to give Lopez the nod at center, too. He may not be playing well when he comes off the bench, but he's also playing with the 2nd unit. Let Lopez get passes from VC and Harris and let Boone use his energy off the bench, since we don't use SWAT.

Frank is just awful. Took VC out TWICE when Indiana went on runs and we needed offense. Played Hassell, enough said. Starts Simmons, enough said. Called a timeout, down 8, with 14 seconds to go. No heart, no competitiveness, NOTHING!

I just feel like the guy hasn't utilized his entire skillset with his ball-handling, explosiveness, and most importantly his above average passing. It's not that I'm mad he's passing the ball to the open guy, it's more of creating plays for himself and for others for better situations than the normal open shot our guys usually miss. Am I asking a lot of Carter? Yes. Do I think he could do it though? Absolutely.

Hayes isn't the shooter Simmons is but in this short season I've already seen enough from him to put him in the starting lineup over Simmons. Simmons you have to put glass under his nose sometimes to make sure he's alive, Hayes is active on both ends of the court & is just more explosive. I'm actually surprised by his athleticism. He's a fighter.

Still hate Dooling.

Yi is getting more consistent rebounding the ball - but he's still a one dimensional offensive player.

Lopez is good at rebounding - he's too slow & plodding to play the high pick & roll. I'd like to see him get a few post plays called every game & judge his game from there (if he gets more opportunities in the post or not)

Hassell - why is this guy even playing. The most hilarious sequence of the game was when Diener got caught on Hassell's back - so Frank acts as if it was a video game & decides to run a post play for Hassell on the left block but can't get him the ball so they swing the ball to opposite side to get Hassell the ball in the right block against Diener & of course he does diddly with it. DO NOT EVER run plays for Hassell I don't care what mismatch he has - he's got piss poor offensive skill. Do you run a play for Diop if you see Graham on him , no because he still would suck at scoring...argh !@%$

I was big on Najera but he's shown zilch - Anderson may lack the defensive savy of Najera now but he has youth & energy & is active - Nets need more players who are "active" right now.

SWat gets some burn and played good but then had too much stored energy and forced too ill advised long jump shots - trying to show he deserves more minutes. He brings energy to this team and they need to find minutes for him esp. with how lethargic the Nets were today.

Foster quietly destroyed the Nets. I only really noticed him back tapping those crucial offensive rebounds but then I look at the score sheet and dude is 16/7/3. Nets need a hustle guy like that.
Look at the Pacers - key players out but bench players stepped up and they pretty much controlled the Nets all game long. have to respect that. Why don't Frank teams play that hard.

Lot of turnovers lately - don't know if that has to do with Devin being out or not but it can't help not having your starting PG running the show.

VC had a great game - 2 or 3 missed shots were in/out types. He's busting his butt out there and I only saw "fire" from him & Hayes (and SWat) - that's what I found most disappointing. These guys aren't good enough to win on talent alone - they need to work harder then the other guys to compete let alone win and I don't see it consistently.

Next game Devin or no Devin I want to see fire for 48 minutes (and Hayes in starting line up).

Again just want to reiterate lack of fast break points will be an Achilles heel for the Nets all year long & I don't see any way to correct it with this roster.

Thats what i'm sayin but its not his fault.Lfrank didn't run a single play for him. i was screamin at the tv for them to give Brook the ball in the post but nothing.Instead frank lets him run around lost for 20 minutes.

Frank is still trying to win the games so if the game's close it's likely Lopez won't get anything called for him (but Hassell will, go figure this logic). I haven't seen him at all in college but so far he hasn't made a single good impression on his post ups, he shuffles feet, gets pushed back to the outside and takes horrible out of balance shots. With a coach that amazingly develops young players like Frank that's enough to know he won't be getting a lot of chance from now. Doesn't matter he's a rook, he needs touches to get better and figure out his game, Nets also aren't going anywhere so it would seem a perfect situation, yet there's a giant (yet small at he same time) obstacle in Frank.
