How nice would it be right now to have him instead of Daniels or Stevenson. A young and smart player who does good at everything you need him to.

Screw Mason - Tony Parker had 55 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds in that game :o Yes, he did play 51 minutes, but still, wow.

Hey! Everyone is so excited about us getting our first win, what about the game of the night last night, ATL vs Boston? Man! that must of been a great game with Pierce winning it for the Celts. This Hawk team is dangerous though.

If they are able to keep this up w/o Josh Smith, i wonder how of it will have to do with Horford playing what I consider to be his natural PF position. If he and Pachulia hold down the inside, where does Smith play when he gets back? I don't think you put him on the bench. You can move him to the 3 but then Marvin Williams goes to the bench. But then what do you do when it comes time to re-sign Marvin? They didn't want to invest MLE dollars in Childress so why would then invest potentially twice that in Williams if he's going to be a 6th man? Do they trade him for a longterm solution at PG?

(Of course they could always go back to playing small with Horford in the middle but again my scenario assumes that Horford will play better and the team will win more games with him at the 4.)

Horford is better at PF, but when you play him at C, he does a lot of things that other C's can't do.

Anyway, my boy Speights had a nice game v Toronto with 12 & 7. Since Philly was the team that supposedly tried hard to get Jamison, maybe there's hope for a deal with Philly with Jamison going there and Speights coming here. Philly would have to think they're making a run at the conference championship.

Kwame Brown is starting?

2 thoughts

1) The Pistons are back at it again with 3 former Wizards in their starting lineup (Wallace, Hamilton, Brown)

2) In his career, Kwame Brown has now started alongside Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Allen Iverson

Denver beat the Celtics in Boston tonight. Having a pure PG like Billups could end up being the piece that gets them to the next level. Just think how good they could be if McDyess didn't have any hard feelings and would have stayed.

I'm surprised that Denver lost since they looked like garbage defensively against Cleveland on the defensive end.

The Detroit/Denver trade looks really good for Detroit and good for Denver.

The Pistons looked great beating the Lakers and the Nuggets are getting a lot more focused offensively under Billups.

I think both teams are 4-1 since the trade.

So much for continuity.
