Let the Burkie to Toronto rumors start. If he does go to Toronto it will be a smart move for the Leafs. One I would hate to see, is it just me or did anyone else think it was a nice gesture of Burke to want to talk about the Ducks new GM? The reporters were hounding him about the Leafs job but he said this isn't the time and place.

Rumors. . . .I think Burkes press conferance was the conclusion. . .he is headed to the big smoke.

I dont know if this is as good of a move as people think. Nonnis (spl?) did everything but talk to the media in Van, and Burke took over a cup team, and really hasnt added much since he got there. Only things he did were give Scott and Teemu half a season off and lose Penner. Unless he assembles a kick a** team of managers around him. . .I dont think this will turn out the way Leafs nation hopes

Count the Bruins out a rumor had him wanting to go there but he said he isn't interested in them. I guess it's Toronto or I could see Ottawa as a darkhorse. Wouldn't that just piss off Leaf fans :P

To take over for Chiarelli? No thanks, Burke is a great hockey mind, but Chia has really turned this team around, I would hate to see him be fired before he gets to see his team start to win playoff games.

Burke is not worthy of the Bruins.

Toronto or Chicago.

Yeah I thought it was a bad move as well. I mean the Bruins are playing out of their minds now. I guess Glen Murray was dead weight/cancer as soon as you guys got rid of him your winning go figure.

Burke will be on the Eastern Seaboard but to which team I don't know. I don't see him wanting to GM for Vancouver again unless they give him a ton of money or give him god like satus in Van City. Count my Wings out we don't need him we have a better GM
