there is no other way to put this...you are an obsessed fan, seek help or fly/drive to NJ and talk to Stromile...it would really be worth a try...

Because its Thriller...cant believe I said that... :eek1:
gonna lock this...we're ready for a new thread...Boone going down might of been the best thing to happen to the Nets...

its really time to start the Boone vs Lopez thread...Hawks game really put that debate on the map...maybe even starting both together to really give some toughness w. Yi...please feel free to start a new thread on this topic...

I like Yi as the starting PF.
He has shown that even when his shot is off he contributes with rebounding and defense and doesn't try to force it too much, although he keeps shooting if he is open, which is good because it means he still has some confidence in himself and his shot even if it is not falling yet he isn't personally stalling the offense by forcing bad shots.

Yi is a defensive role player that tries hard but just doesn't quite get "it."

Its true. He is athletic and long, so that makes him a tough guy for perimeter orientated forwards to get around and shoot over. But on offense he is clueless unless that jumpshot is falling. About 80% of his games read: 6-10pts and under 40%fg. I watched the 1st quarter last night and it was more of the same as last season.

so do I....the coaching staff even talked about how Yi has to be active on the defensive end and on the boards when his shot has is not falling...and he's definitely getting there...its going to be nice to see him have a big game when Carter and Harris got it going...
