It looks like Brook Lopez gets his first NBA start Friday vs. the Hawks. With Josh Boone recovering from a bad ankle bruise, the 7′-1″ rookie is likely to be at the center position. Boone isn’t the only scratch. Eduardo Najera is out with a strained neck, meaning Ryan Anderson moves into his spot behind Yi Jianlian. Devin Harris looks good to go.

So Lopez & Anderson will get more burn & SWat by default is bumped up in the rotation. Hope to see all three get some legit burn this game. Just imagine if they play well - this could force Frank's hand.

Devin back - good & bad - he must want to come back seeing the Nets lose but it's not worth it if his greatest asset (speed) is reduced or if he increases likelihood to aggravate his injury. Hope all turns out well.

Atlanta has played great. I really like JJ and Horford will be a load for the Nets froncourt. Bibby too is an excellent perimeter shooter & they bring energy....which leads me to ask if Nets will do the same.

If I see anything from this game (win or lose) I hope it's that more than VC/Hayes look like they give a damn....I can accept losing for this team as really up & down the roster they are still raw & unproven but as a fan I can't accept seeing them play without intensity. This team will usually not win on talent & execution alone - they have to have more desire on each play then their opponent and I was expecting that this season but haven't seen it consistently & the last game vs Pacers was the most lethargic they looked (outside of VC/Hayes).

I knew Josh Boone would be out. The way he twisted his ankle happens to me a lot when i play basketball and it hurts like a b*tch for days. Seeing how Najera is also out Sean Williams better get some mass time

We need the win tonight fellas.

Marvin Williams can guard Yi without a problem. He's quick enough to guard Yi and can muscle him all over the court. Devin Harris is the type of guard that eats the Hawks lunch. Also Vinsanity is always a wild card, you never know when he can still go for 35.

The Hawks have a depleted front line without Josh Smith and Pachulia is injured as well. Randolph Morris has been forced to play the last two games and he is garbage.

Look for a little known player by the name of Solomon Jones. I think you'll be impressed with how he handles himself in the paint.

Enjoy the game fellas!

Man, a win here and putting a stop to the red hot hawks (even if they lost their last game by that last second shot by Pierce) would fire up this team. The problem is does Frank believe playing to win mean less time for Anderson and Sean and more time for Hassell and Najera.

It's a good thing we've been starting Boone instead of Pez.

That is an awesome nickname. Now I just need a sig that is a pez dispenser with Lopez's head on it.

Thank you Frank for giving Sean some time. He's drawn two fouls from his off the ball movement and caused Joe Johnson to throw a bad pass instead of going up for a shot.
