I truly think Lincecum was deserving, he was lights out for the Giants the entire year. However in the back of my mind I have to wonder if we didnt blow a few games for Santana how the voting would have ended up. Either way Santana was every bit the pitcher that we traded for, you cant have any complaints about him.

I can't believe Webb finished ahead of Santana. Santana had a better ERA and threw for more strikeouts. It just proves that 'wins' is the most overrated stat in pro baseball.

To Webb's credit he was unhittable for the first half of the season before coming back down to earth. Bottom line he didnt win so who really cares?
