Ridiculous....straight up ridiculous. Nash "escalated the situation"? Oh thats right...apparently by falling to the ground by a shove from McGrady.

Totally makes sense.

Artest should have been suspended for 15 games for being in the "immediate vicinity" of the "altercation." /sarcasm

Honestly, the only two people who should have been fined is Barnes and Rafer. Rafer should never have went at Barnes, he started the whole thing. You could say oh, well Barnes gave him a dirty hard screen. Yeah he did, but it doesn't warrant the reaction from Rafer.

The way I see it, if Nash was suspended so should T-Mac. He ran up to break it up and T-Mac was there with the shove even before Nash got there. Yeah you Rocket fans call me bias because I'm a Suns fan, well look at the Houston-Dallas game when Yao and Josh Howard were having a few words and Artest rushed up to them. When I first watched it, it looked like Artest was doing a little pushing and shoving himself, but after watching it a few times, he was just trying to get to Yao. No problems there. Artest ran into the group as fast as Nash did, only thing different is that Nash got the push before he got there. T-Mac should have been suspended as well if Nash was to be suspended. At the start of the scuffle T-Mac was trying to break it up, but the moment Nash came to help out Barnes, T-Mac just levels the guy. T-Mac had as much part of instigating the scuffle as Nash no matter who got in there first, if you had a role in the scuffle, you should be suspended. Shaq fine I'm OK with, he was trying to break things up, but him being so big his breaking up looked like mad pushing.

Kerr said he was also told by NBA executive vice president Stu Jackson that Barnes would have only received a flagrant foul, level two, had Alston not charged at him.

Makes a ton of sense, doesn't it?

Nothing new here, HootieRules. Stu admitted two years ago than Duncan and Bowen would have been suspended if James Jones had punched Francisco Elson. Punish our guy more for what their guy did back? Yeah, it makes sense.

David Stern is an idiot, this wasn't even a fight. I wasn't expecting Nash to get suspended because he just got shoved to the floor.

What fo you expect from that crook David Stern. Him and his puppet StuPid Jackson are both idiots. Was that a cheap shot from Matt Barnes? nope, that was a physical play that took place. However, Rafer Alston being the thug that he is decide to take action becouse he felt that this was unecessary. Thank God that Alston did not bring a knife or else he would of started shaking people like he did to that poor man in a New York club.

Barnes & Alston should of gotten suspended but Nash getting suspended is rediculos. Oh well, at least it didnt cost a game. Nash got some rest as Barnes did, now lets get ready to face the Detroit Pistons. They hammered the 2009 NBA champions tonight, or atlest thats what ESPN is sayin.

Correct me if I am wrong, but since SUNS are appealing can Barnes start against Pistons?

Coro says appeal is only for fines, not games.

Well it is confusing because Kerr said he is appealing the suspensions, not the fines.

Why don't we start a David Stern = JackAss billboard fund. It can't cost that much... but I could picture a Donkey with Sterns face on a billboard somewhere between the airport and the stadium, for that week of festivities. (complete with donkey ears... I believe someone somewhere photoshopped one)

any interest in some public tom foolery ? I will contribute $100 ...
I think it would be all be legal. And if so, it can be done
What ? Me Worry ?
