Love the game Brook had. With Kenyon, Kidd, Nenad, and RJ gone, Brook just might be my favorite player with the Nets right now.

Shout out to dat gro Ryan Anderson. He's been the Nets most consistent and underrated young player this year.
I didn't like the pick when it happened, but I'm loving what the Nets are getting from him.

I'm in this same boat. I thought we messed up big time passing on CDR for him since I saw nothing in him, but a bench shooter, but hey...that's what we need.

Really really good game for us, lots of positivies to take out from it.
First of all as I told you guys with Devin we're actually a pretty damn decent team, without him or Vince were the hands down worst though.
Lopez Baby, finally after years of watching the worst excuses for "a legit C" this team has finally found a legit scorer down low for the years to come.
Ryan was spectacular.
Finally SWAT is getting some PT and making good use of it.
Devin had yet another 30 pts game, and thats just dandy.
Vince played well and its ironic that he's playing that much better without the other 2 players of the big 3 there's something about this Devin-Vince combo that just works a lot better than the big 3 for some reason, I do think that Frank ran way too many plays for him in the money time but meh we won so who cares.

B-Lo. Awful. They might as well nickname him something else awful like BL11 or BLT.
I was actually surprised by his early offense - I like him as a starter because he does have some post game but more because he's a legit C that can be a solid paint defender just due to his size. Solid game. Hit the offensive glass, passed decently from the low post, and guarded the paint well.
Devin. Worried about his ankle. It's clicked for him now. He's looking for fastbreak opportunities now and he's making the right plays in 1/2 court sets. Those back-to-back 3's in the 4th were crucial. Don't know how he had the gumption to take that 1st 3 right after wobbling his ankle during his pivot. This team is so much more organized when VC/Devin are in the lineup and you can have one always on the court. This team will have a chance when VC/Devin both have 10+ FT attempts.
Right when I want Hayes to start he put's up a rotten-egg-of-a-game. I still like him there though & his energy. Which leads to Frank - I like set rotations but due to the recent injuries I like alot of what he did yesterday. Lopez into starting lineup was a forced move but playing a more effective Anderson over Yi was great / splitting time between Simmons & Hayes was good / giving SWat some good minutes / despite VC's struggles running plays for him down the stretch in the 4th that led to some much needed points / switching it up later when VC missed by running plays for Devin & even running plays through Lopez. Not playing Hassell. I actually liked Frank this game outside of some questionable schemes on double teaming (specifically doubling down on post w/ defender guarding Bibby - a no no, & not being able to force the ball out of JJ's hands down the stretch to see if someone else can make plays)
VC owes Lopez & Anderson a meal at a swank steak house. First game where he really struggled - but alot of it was missed open shots so I really have no problems with his shot selection this game, it's just one of those days where he didn't have it. I actually thought his shot selection on drives were worse as he knew his shot was off & was trying to score in the paint more but tossed up some crap hoping to be bailed out by the refs. All that being said he was brilliant in the 4th: 3-5 fg / 3 rebounds / 1 assist / 12 points & went to the line several times. VC was guarding DWade & JJ so well for 3 quarters & they go bonkers on him in the 4th...
I really like JJ too. His game reminds me of VC's. They also have the same demeanor (VC can be more demonstrative for the better or worse). He had those floaters over VC/Lopez over & over, had that huge bomb (baddd shot....GREAT SHOT !). Nets lose this if Josh Smith is on the floor as he's their sole paint defender. I was expecting more from Horford - was not interested at all, expect differently at his home. I can't put my finger on it but I've never liked Bibby - maybe it's a bit of his showboating days w/ the Kings but he just grates me - damn sweet shooter though. I hated seeing the Nets double off of Bibby - one thing I think Frank should have fixed, either let the man go iso vs post defender or send help from the middle of the floor & rotate from there).
Good game for the 'yutes'.

You see I wouldn't go that far, because these last two games when Devin Has played, he's just been going off on offense, he's not going to drop 30 points every game so the offense is going to sputter and as of right now this clearly isn't a good defensive team.
