Mark Blount-HILARIOUS!!!!

This is from www.Basketbawful.com and their feature, "Worst of the Weekend"

Mark Blount: He got five minutes of PT against the Wiz and finished with...1 turnover. Period. That's like showing up to a company pot luck and only contributing the potato salad that gave everybody diarrhea. That's what Blount is at this point: Spoiled potato salad. He's making over $7 million this season, by the way, and he'll make almost $8 million next season. Which fills me with a red-hot rage.

Holy **** I **** laughed so hard I had to keep it inside so no one heard me at work...BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!! That analogy is PERFECT.

You have to love Blount...

I forget the exact quote but at last years "Whiney Awareds" (WEEI) Wyc was on talking about the new scoreboard saying.

"It's big, looks nice and cost me $5 million but it doesn't really do that much. Reminds me of Mark Blount..."

I probably butchered the exact quote but it's something like that. hehe

Thats the stat. 5 minutes a game!

Anyone who averages 5 mins a game should not be making 7 million dollars.

Sorry, i didn't mean to sound like i was specifically taking a stab at the Celtics. Whatever team is paying him that much and giving him 5 minutes PT are morons.

Basketbawful is one of the consistently hilarious--and insightful--basketball websites out there. It's usually my first stop, God help me, when I want to see what happened in the league. Bawful and Evil Ted crack me up. Footbawful is pretty damn funny, too.

I too, lost it when I read the potato salad line! They rag on Blount a lot, which makes me smile.

If we're going to reminisce about former Celtic Mark Blount how about this one:

Remember when he insisted that his name be pronounced "blunt"? As in the sentence: Mark Blount smokes a blunt before every game. I don't know about any one else but I found this hilarious. Everyone had been calling him Blount for years and then Tommy starts saying Blunt. This had to be a joke put on by Blount, right?
