Monday Night Football, gotta love it.
Very big possibility that Reggie Bush will be back this week, just in time to face the Pack.
Everything taken into account, I think the Packers match up as well with the Saints as any team in the NFL. For one, the Saints are a very one-dimensional offense (1st in passing yards, 27th in rushing yards, 27th in yards per carry), and the one thing they do great (passing) is what the Packers are arguably the best in the NFL at stopping. With a 100% healthy secondary heading into this game, and coming off a good run D performance, I really like our chances in this game.
When we have the ball, we should be able to put up some points. The Saints are 26th against the pass, and have given up the 5th most TD's in the NFL (16). They are 23rd in YPC allowed. All in all, they have a very poor defense.
Likely, as always playing in a big primetime game, TO's will tell the story. I think if we protect the ball and Rodgers makes good decisions with the football, we will be able to score 27+ on this Saints D. Cannot give Brees a short-field.
We're also going to have to tackle well throughout this game. Saints have some shifty players and on the turf their quickness is magnified.
All that said, I think we win this game.

Re: Scouting the Saints
Deuce, Smith and Grant all have their hearing tomorrow and all will likely get suspended. However usually the NFL doesn't suspend guys for an upcoming game once the practice week has started so if they do get suspended it will probably be AFTER they face the Pack.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Scouting the Saints
Winning this division relies on 3 things:
1. Must beat the Bears in Chicago
2. Take care of business in Lambeau vs. Houston and Detroit
3. Win at least 1 of the tougher games in @NO, @Jax, Car
The only way we don't take the division then is if the Queens get extremely hot. Beating the Bears would assure us the tiebreaker over both Min and Chi as long as we beat the Lions.

Re: Scouting the Saints
If Bush is back, the special teams could play a big factor. MNF games are always closer than they should for whatever reason. The Saints are also playing for their season.

I agree, Bush is always a threat. We got a nice little warm up for him yesterday from Hester though so I think we should be in good shape. I'm actually more concerned about Pierre Thomas than Brees. I have a feeling the Saints are going to try to set up the pass later in the game by running early and often. If Grant can have another 100+ yard game I don't think there's anyway we can lose. Our best defense is running the ball and keeping Brees & Co. off the field.
