Sup with Korver?

Post#1 » by Phenom415 » Sat Nov 15, 2008 10:50 pm

And I'm not just talking aobut his shooting. He's throwing terribly lazy passes that result in bad turnovers and committing horrendous fouls. I honestly can't blame Sloan one bit for cutting his minutes recently. It's unfortunate that he's playing this way because with all the injuries, etc, he could be picking up big minutes and shoring up our scoring needs. Anybody else worried?

Korver's shooting numbers are probably never going to be equal to his abilities, I'm sadly realizing. As for the lazy passes, I'm hoping that's just a few bad games, because early on this year, I thought he was looking quite sharp in that regard.

He will look better with a 100% Williams. He only has to shoot. He never will do never better than this.

Korvers liek Jason Kapono, other then shooting, theres not much they can do, and to use them to their strengths, i think you just have to have the right pg on your team to get them the ball when they can do something productive, which in this case probably would be when Williams is a 100%

True dat. Korver really struggles without a playmaker.

Another fact that will go ignored when the aristocracy hypes their LeBron/Kobe/CP3 MVP years while leaving Deron in the dust.

If Korver's shot is not falling due to his wrist or whatever, and we're not picking up Almond's rookie contract, why are we not giving Almond some playing time? If for nothing else, to shop him better for a trade. If he gets double figures scoring for a few games, I can't see how that hurts his trade value. If Korver's not 100%, I'd like to see the guy get his chance.
