Price vs Knight

I don't even think it's close. Brevin is playing some ball, and Price is stinking it up. (Sorry Ronnie) I'm thinking Brevin takes the backup role when DWill comes back.

+1

I wasnt even super impressed last yr. Sure he had some great hustle plays, made some shots etc. But he was super inconsistent and our Bench will not be as effective with Price at backup.

I loved his energy last year, but his energy came from other teams not being ready for him or having a real game plan to combat him.

Teams this year have started to figure him out. He really doesn't drive the ball as well as he should, his court vision isn't on par with most back up PG's and he favors his jumpshot even though he is a streak shooter.

His defense is good, but pales in comparison to Brevin Knight's.

Knight is a true floor leader, a creator and a top level defensive PG.

When D-Will is back, I want him playing 30-35 minutes with Knight getting the rest. You can't underestimate how important it will be to save Deron a little bit for the playoffs and Brevin Knight is more then capable of handing 20 minutes a night. Having a rested D-Will come the postseason will pay huge dividends.

Knight>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Price.

This though would make Price the best third string PG in the league. He's certainly a capable back up PG, but just not on Knight's level who is one of the top 3-4 in the league.

Totally agree with everything Bat said.

I'm elated to have Price as our third-string PG. He's definitely quite competent, just not in Brevin's league. I know the Clippers had good memories of Jason Hart, but they look like complete buffoons right now handing Knight to us on a silver platter.
