I hope rashard has a field day against JO. I hope hedo goes off for 30...I hope dwight gets 10 blocks. I hope jameer has 18 assists..

the only thing that is likely to happen is bosh scores 30/20/10 on us and the raps win.

Why would Rashard have a field day against O'neal? O'neal won't be guarding Lewis, Bosh will.

And don't friggin ignore Lewis. If any of Moon, Parker or Kapono is guarding him, give him the ball in the post immediately. Look for the mismatch, and don't jack up 3's, and this will be an easy win.

The offense is becoming worrisome is it not? We are delivering on the defensive end, but coming up short offensively; ORtg=106.4 compared to last years ORtg=111.3. Dwight, Peaches, and yes, Bogans, seem to be doing more than their fair share, but Nelson, Turk and Lewis have really underperformed over these first 10 games. I'm not so concerned about any of those three, and I think that all six guys have the makings of an elite offensive rotation. My main concern is AJ and his individual ORtg=82. That is horrendous and embarrassing.

So here's hoping that ALL our guys have break out offensive games and we bury these pesky Raptors.

We just aren't making shots outside the paint, except for Pietrus and sometimes Jameer. Rashard and Hedo could build a mansion with all the bricks this season. Battie is shooting better than them.

The Real Key to Tonight's Game: Tony Battie

We are going to have to go with a line up of Dwight/Tony/Rashard a lot tonight...IMO. While Dwight can handle O'Neal or Bosh, them having two legit big guys presents a match up problem for us. I think we will need to take some of the pressure off Dwight and have some other big bodies in the game to help him out.

Why you would want a Magic player to have permanent damage to one of his knees, after kneeing Calderon in his brass balls is beyond me... :dontknow:

LOL. Epic.

Great game thread AdamTheGreek, well done.

Looking forward to tonight's game, especially the Howard-JO matchup. I was hoping Calderon would play, but to be honest I'd be just as happy if he doesn't and waits a few extra days before he plays again.

Good luck tonight guys, should be a good game.

Should be a great game. I hope Calderon plays b/c we don't need any excuses about that but it should be a good one no matter what. I say Dwight owns the Raps as usual. Especially after his last game. I'll give Toronto credit that if JO plays well, we will have a tough time stopping him and Bosh. This is gonna be fun.

This post is all over the place.

First off, JO won't even be guarding Lewis. So I don't know how he's supposed to have a field day against him. Hedo going off for 30, Dwight getting 10blks, and Jameer getting 18ast, are each all more likely than Bosh getting a trip-dub, highlighted with a 20 rebound effort, for a Raptor win.

You want your team to put up incredible stats, yet believe Bosh going off is the only thing likely to happen. I don't know the logic, unless your fantasy team consists of the entire Magic roster.

Outrageous prediction of the night:

Jameer Nelson will posterize JO. Keep in mind that Nelson has only 2 dunks in his career. So this is indeed outrageous.

Nah, either Pietrus or AJ will posterize JO. Ah the Trevor memories:

Pietrus? Even if that is true its like saying a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) could beat a cripple in a footrace.

Judging on his offensive output so far this year, he'll either go fro 18+ or about 4 :D

I think the Magic have what it takes to win, even if primarily because Calderon is unlikely to play. Dwight should outplay O'Neal, although there is no guarantee of that, and I would expect Bosh to get his against Rashard, but I just don't see the Raps perimeter guys outplaying ours without Calderon there. Either way, it could well be a lot closer than people may expect.
