and this is coming from a Bulls fan? are u serious? I get the feeling you just want to troll just as we suffer from a constant choking. if you're not trolling, I apologize. but come on, you can't be real. why would you trade your only serviceable big men AND Deng?

I'd like to know if you have the guts to post this on the Bulls board. if you do/did, kudos!!!

He actually posted this in the main Trade Board. He is a Bulls fan that is known for underselling his own players. He always underrates his own players. I noticed the trend and Bulls fans have pointed out as much.

i posted on the chicago board - only 2 replys, 1 said it was ''ambitious'' but he doesn't see how we upgrade sufficiently. The other said it was awful.
on the main trade board - i believe one bulls fan said he liked it, and one t'wolves fan said no way - or something like that.

IMO, making a trade, with the intention of gaining depth, is very useful.
and this is exactly what chicago accomplishes with this trade.
- and Gomes even starts, (I'd start Gray over J. Collins but I dont know if the bulls would)

I am known for underselling chicago's players, maybe cuz I focus more on their flaws instead of their talents. Also, its important to know that the majority of the trades I propose are based on chicago being a half-court team. If i had the mindset of making trades based on paxons/Vinnys vision - they certainly would be diff.

Take out Deng and I'd still do this.

it would be even better actually considering Deng's contract length. he would be a talent upgrade over our current SFs but he's just another good but not great player and we don't need anymore good players because we have good players or players with potential to become good. and given his contract length I wouldn't want him here actually.

I think Deng would be a great pickup. Get Sefolosha too. They play defense and rebound and can create their own offense. And they're smart and have good attitudes. Only downside is 3 point shooting, but Al can't pass anyways, so it's irrelevant.

If you can get Deng w/o giving up Jefferson or Love, then you pounce on that with the quickness.

I can see very little downside to this trade. I'm trying hard to think of one. In this trade we're getting rid of two of my lease favorite players on the roster (Craig and Gomes). Dealing our crappiest contract for young big men and two persons we could buy out (Ruffin and Hunter). Get a great option for center who'd be starting in no time (Gooden).

How a premise of this instead:

Chi: Deng, Nichols and Gooden
Minn: Gomes, McCants, C. Smith, J. Collins

In this deal we're giving up two big men (Collins and Craig) for Gooden. Giving up two guys who are perimeter for Deng. We add Nichols because he is kinda good and we'd need some depth.

Gooden starts at center for sure for us. Deng starts at SF.

Foye/Telfair
Miller/Carney/Nichols (have a battle for minutes here)
Deng/Brewer
Jefferson/Love
Gooden/Love
