Any Regrets On Gerald Green?

Post#1 » by RazorJordan32 » Thu Nov 20, 2008 12:36 am

I know that Gerald Green is pretty stupid on basketball I.Q. and lacks defence but would you guys would have kept him at the reserve role?

I'd Want him and tell T-mac to teach him a thing or two and battier to teach defence

Id personally always wanted Gerald Green

Regrets on Green? He hasn't done anything for us to regret letting him go.

Sure, he's an intriguing talent, but the league is filled with long, athletic wing players who are as dumb as dirt.

So I regret letting him go as much as I regret trading Kirk Snyder.

I regret letting him go because I always thought he is easily better than Head and guys like that.

I think he will be a 12-14 ppg socrer off the bench eventually.

Yeah me too. I think he still has alot of talent in him. I think we should have never let him go when we traded for him. She should have given him more PT last season when we had him. This move might haunt in the future if he turns out to be a solid player with the Mavericks.

Not really, I mean, we wouldn't have won any games with Yao out and Green still here. So I don't really care that we waved him.

Well I mean, if he can bring it 100% every game with a strong mentality then yes, we need that at our starting shooting guard spot.

Yeah and also have Brooks to teach him how to be fast and Yao teach him how to be tall. Then we would've created the ultimate NBA player and own the NBA. Come on now the dude was dumb as a doorknob...

He would have been a better option than Luther head and maybe even Barry at this point.

Green still has low bball IQ. He has athleticism , but even luther head has higher bball IQ than Green IMO. So no thanks

An empty roster spot would be a better option than Luther Head...

He is averaging 7 points a game on the season. Even that is better than Barry and Luther combined. The only thing I am concerned about is his 3 point shooting. If he wants to be a complete player he needs to shot better from 3 point range.
