Randolph for Crawford?

Post#1 » by akaFlip » Thu Nov 20, 2008 3:45 am

I'm wondering what your opinion on this trade is.

I send:
Zach Randolph

I recieve:
Jamal Craford

My team is good all around, the only place I get beat constantly is points/3's/FG% all other categories I do well in, is this a good trade?

Or could I get a better offer for Randolph?

With the way Randolph is playing, I think you can get more him. I'd try to send Randolph and another player for one of the following plus filler:

R. Gay
J. Johnson
Paul Pierce
J. Richardson

I already have Gay in my roster, you're right though the reason why I put this up is because I thought that I could get more for Randolph any other players you think that could overall help me in 3's/pts that arent as expensive as those players?

I can but I'm not sure if you would want to trade Randolph for them. After looking at some stats, Crawford is probably a good choice for 3's and scoring. Randolph is one of the few players that gets 20/10 every year though. Big guys are usually harder to come by then guards so you might be losing some value but that's not a bad trade by any means.

You could also target guys like:

Rashard Lewis - might be perfect for you because you would keep some of the rebounds you lose with Randolph
OJ Mayo - it's a little risky to go after a rookie but he's looking very solid and he hits a ton of 3's

If you want to move someone other than Randolph, you could look at:

Ben Gordon
Stephen Jackson
Rudy Fernandez
Mike Bibby
Ron Artest
Ray Allen
Hedo Turkoglu
