I wrote a similar position on the trade board. Foye can be great over small periods, but is inconsistent. It would be tough for me to trade him because I don't think I know after ten games who Foye is going to be.

I think so too actually, but I have to admit, Conley's defensive potential and athleticism and age are really enticing. That plus Foye's already 25, the death of Fourth Quarter Foye, and the one thing I wanted out of him when we drafted him - a beast off the dribble - that never transpired, so that's quite disappointing. I really thought he was going to be able to kill people off the dribble in the NBA.

I don't know what Foye's identity is yet, is he a distributor, is he a scorer, is he a spot up shooter, is he going to be a good defender - I have a lot of questions about his future, he's been very hard to figure out. I thought he was going to blow up this season after how he finished last season, I wasn't prepared for this start.

I'd do it. Might as well leave Chicago out of it though. Straight up Foye for Conley works for me. I think Foye can still improve, but I think adding Conley could improve the whole team.

I'd also do a Lowry/McCants deal.
