Not so skinny when you're 5"11 but yeah I'm not at the point where I need to buy new clothes...yet.
I hope you're at least 6"3 or 6"5 lol

busy with work but I've been going on and off. I am back at 35-40 reps of pushups which is good...bad news is I lost a little weight. Gotta get more food in and start lifting more frequently.

my friend told me i should stop lifting for 2 weeks and only do cardio, then after 2 weeks start weight training for another month again to shock the muscles for more growth..anyone agree?

I've heard something about that. If you are doing that...do more cardio than you would normally do to get more 'cut' up. I think another way to go is to change up your routine. I'm not an expert so I don't want to chime in. Good luck

if any of you guys are looking to lose weight, HIIT is the way to go, ive had excellent results doing this. Make sure you implement this into your workout routine if your serious about losing that fat

what ive been doing is 15 min light jog
Sprint for 60 secs on 9.0 treadmill speed, then very light jog for 60 secs on 4.0 speed (repeat this 5x)

it forces you to push your body to the limits, its exhausting but well worth it, only takes 25 mins

This is my 3 month progress pic,my chest is still developing and my biceps are starting to naturally bulge out of my arms its exciting, no more being a chubby kid :D

and this was me 3 months ago (man its gross to look at now haha

i am slowly slicing away at body fat, but i still have a belly that i need to get rid of it takes forever slowly but surely. Taking fish oil, multivitamin, and green tea extract every day. Eating lots of protein, drinking lots of water. Working out 5-6x a week. Ive been noticing i get more attention/looks from girls. Self confidence has never been higher in my life

what a baller hahaha.. we need to get you a shirt that says "there is no safety lock on these guns" or "member of the 'armed forces'" ahahahah

great progress. as for abs, there are a ton of videos out there showing all kidns of ab workouts. I think you should do abs every day or every other day right after your workout. It'll start getting definition after a little time..dont forget to do obliques.

So I went to the L.A. Fitness in Altamonte for the first time today, and I got my butt handed to me by a 16 year old wearing a knee brace who was a good six inches shorter than me, who said he was in crutches a few days ago, lol. Granted I was having an off day and rarely play any more, and this kid had serious talent, but it's now safe to say my dream of playing pro ball are officially dead. :P (joking, they've been dead for years)

(edit: and the kid plays 4-5 hours a day, i remember those days...i miss them, lol)

My arms and chest are starting to come into focus and tone, but still having trouble shedding these last few lbs and get rid of the handles. Meh. Might start doing that HIIT system again (I started, but then had issues come up and had to stop).

There's no contract. It's $35/month, but they try and stick you with a bunch of fees, pretty sure you can talk em down and pay nearly no signups fees if you're willing to walk away if it's unreasonable. I've heard of people paying as much as $500 to signup and the first and last month (yea it's one of those deals where you pay first and last months at signup). You pay monthly, but when you cancel you're actually cancelling with that last month still to go (that you paid for at signup).

Monthly fee is great, but they'll definitely stick you with sign-up fees. Stick to your guns and you can probably sign up for like $100-150+first and last. So it's still about $200-250 to get started, and that's after talking em down.

edit: every once in a while they have deals for family and friends of current members where there's supposedly no sign up fees, but i don't know if that's real or not.

It's cheaper if you just sign up for one gym, but if you sign up for all of Florida it's like an extra $100 (even I had to pay this and I knew the VP of the branch), and all of the country is like an extra $250.
