Yep, I'm serious... Sorry but as great as Dwight has been -- and I am a Dwight fan -- I cant put him ahead of Duncan just yet... Despite Dwight having better FG% Duncan is still better offensively, and he's still the best man-to-man defender in the NBA

but I do need to edit my top 10.. Yao is simply not on a top 10 level right now

Side note - watch the last game Bosh vs KG and decide yourself who is better :) I have no doubt Bosh will become superstar one day, but his time havent come yet. Its fun to watch him on the court and he is definately on the right track

While KG did play very good D that game. That would be our genius coach that decided to use Bosh as a "decoy" in the offence as he termed it, nothing to do with Bosh.

Bosh averaged 20/10/3/2 last year against Garnett. last games stats arn't very indicitive.

Offensivly speaking it's not like Garnett really did much ether, where you could say he dominated Bosh or anything. He just took 15-20 foot jumpers all game, hit half of them and didn't get to the line.

This doesn't really paint an accurate picture, as Garnett's ownage of Bosh over the last couple of years can't really be portrayed as a 1-game "decoy" effect. Garnett has pretty easily controlled Bosh head-to-head since he got to Boston, averaging 21.5 points (on 54% FG), 5 assists and 1.5 TOs vs. Bosh's 17 points (on 44% FG), 2 assists, and 3.5 TOs.

And to say KG didn't really do much against Bosh last game is also inaccurate, as KG went 21 and 10 in addition to neutralizing the Raps' best player.

So many people are going by the past instead of the present. How is Joe Johnson not a top 10 player right now?

Just waiting for the modern equivalent of writerman to pop up and tell y'all off about how you are disrespecting great players who have proved themselves like Kobe, Duncan, KG, and Pierce in favor of young players who haven't accomplished anything yet (Paul, Howard, Bosh) etc. and how LeBron doesn't belong on top until he wins a ring.

Interesting that Deron and Yao are on most lists and Dirk Nowitzki, who has accomplished more and has better numbers prior to this year, didn't make a single one . . . mind you that doesn't mean I disagree, just interesting ;-)

Deron is ahead of Dirk on my list because he has gotten out of the first round each of the last 2 years and has easily been the best player on the team while Dirk has not made it passed the first round the last 2 years... Yao is not ahead of Dirk on my list yet
