I'd like to try a 30 day membership of the Fire Eddy Jordan club. Last night was the tipping point.

Eddy couldn't even where out a seven man rotation of avg. players. I've seen enough.

FIRE EDDY JORDAN.

I'm torn. I've been on the Fire EFJ bandwagon for a few years now. However, Blake Griffin would look pretty damn good next to McGee for the next ten years. I think I'm a member of the "let EFJ get us a ton of ping pong balls and then can his ass at the end of the season" movement.

So who would we looking at as a possible replacement? We've mentioned Avery Johnson and Flip Saunders, two guys who have taken their teams deep into the playoffs but ended up getting fired, with some suggestions that they weren't real popular with their players. We've mentioned Van Gundy, not known for having a scintillating offensive scheme, but certainly would not tolerate the defensive effort we've had here since EJ has been coach. Another guy they mentioned for the Knicks job after Isiah got canned was Mark Jackson but I don't know what experience he has.

Too bad we never got to consider Mike D here, seems like he does everything Eddie Jordan tries to do, only better.

Any other ideas?

According to the poll, there are 8 votes for folks who didnt want EJ to go. I'd like to hear from them as to their reaction...fence sitters too...

I went to give one of my co-workers a high five for this firing and he gave me a look like I was crazy and saying he actually liked EJ. I don't understand it, but hey to each his own some people can't have man crushes on gods.

No, because there the Wiz 5 is a false idea, just like the idea of a big 3.
