Except, I doubt they give Noah AND Gray, although if we offered a 1st I think they might do it.

Also, Nate, I dont think it is a downgrade at SG. We would be able to start Young at SG and have Dixon/Sefolosha come off the bench. Stevenson as our bench player would be TERRIBLE.

And I dont think we will have a lottery pick, there are 76 games left and Arenas is coming back in December :D . We need to make a move regarding our role players, like the one Rico proposed.

Sorry, I didn't read it very carefully. I was talking about the original trade proposed on the Trade Board of Hughes+Sefolosha for Blatche+Songaila+Stevenson+Pesh. That's an awful trade.

Rico's trade isn't bad talentwise, but I still wouldn't do it. We have no need for either Noah or Gray on this team. Make it a 3-way where we get back a respectable PF or SF and I'd be interested.

Larry Hughes is greatness man, what's wrong with chicago!

This guy gives you 12-20 points per game, and at least 3-4 steals.

Hughes had 26pts, 4, 4 last night.

With him playing well i think the chances of the deal being done increases a lot.

Although I liked Songaila in the past, I don't know why so many of you think that the Bulls would take him in this deal. They're already trading the better talent, aren't really desperate to trade Hughes (with Hinrich out), and they're not going to take on a long-term contract. Paxson hinted awhile ago that he was eyeing 2010. I doubt they'd let Songaila jeopardize that.

The most realistic trade would be Hughes for Thomas and Daniels. All contracts end at the same time, so that's fair. Wizards take a chance on a guy they had success with. Bulls acquire some meat in the middle and a veteran backup pg. Hinrich will probably be traded at some point. Daniels can handle the backup minutes for a few seasons. He's also a big PG so he'll compliment Gordon fairly well.

After reviewing the contracts, I'm sure the Bulls wouldn't be opposed to getting Stevenson. If we give up on Thabo then Stevenson would make sense. Something like Hughes for Thomas, Stevenson, and McGuire would make sense too.

The Bulls would save more money with this trade, so the management might actually prefer it to the first one I suggested.

There is no way I trade a first round pick in a deal like that, even if it is heavily protected.

I think you left off the end of the post, where you add the rest of the Bulls' players they send us that make us feel the need to include a pick and OPec.
