Completely disagree Godmoney on the point about replacing Baby with Horry, and possibly PJ. Neither of those guys can defend anywhere near as well as Baby. McDyess is a non factor, he's going back to Detroit. At this point I'm not even sure that Horry or PJ even shoot better than Baby's 32%. It's clear that Doc and the coaching staff have given Baby the green light on jumpers. Maybe, just maybe he's displayed a better touch with that shot in practice and it just hasn't yet translated to the game? Why else would they give Baby the green light?
I'm all for bringing in a a guy like Joe Smith because he still packs a pretty solid offensive punch and he brings good length underneath. But Horry is finished and has problems with Danny Ainge. PJ Brown I understand because I think he's proven to Doc and the team that he's a great leader and a pretty clutch player himself. But frankly I'm not eager to bring Brown back either... Joe Smith should definitely be at the top of the list IMO.

Re: Horry in green?
While I think whether or not this team can stay healthy is always an issue at 100 percent the only thing Horry adds is 3 pt shooting, which is a concer with this team but it also looks like the legs went out of Horry's jumper last year.
The two concerns I have with this team is that they lack a 4th 3pt threat. Last year two teams had 4 guys make 100 3's the Lakers and the Celtics. The other is Lamar Odom coming off the bench for the Lakers. I think playing on that second unit is going to make him more aggressive offensively whichever role he is in come the post season and I worry about us having a match up that can contain him offensively or at least make him work defensively.
Joe Smith was at his best defensively and great offensively next to KG. While he isn't quite that player anymore he has aged very well.
