I never see Felton smile. The only time I've seen him was during the Rookie/Sophomore game back in 07

I love that DJ put the pass right at EO50's chest where he had the best chance to catch it because, let's be frank, he doesn't have the best hands!!

Even though Iggy didn't hit the game winner, I'm still going to drink some beers and because Iggy didn't burn us and we won, they are going to taste SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better!

LB says during the post game:

Bench helped us win. The only negative was the empty posesions. It was Ammo's best overall game - he made shots, got boards and played D. We moved the ball pretty good. Our effort was good. Said it looked like Lex had never played the game before but was thrilled that he had the nerve to shot the J he shot after making some bad mistakes. DJ is even more advanced than he thought when we drafted him. Spoke highly of his positioning on D. Said he's been really well coached.

Said happy holidays!!

Terrific game by DJ and Ray! They scored over 1/2 our points! Congrats to DJ on a brilliant double-double. Those 5 rebounds helped to offset the 5 TO's. Ray was great, too. But I feel kinda bad for him. He has a great game, but gets one up'd by DJ. DJ is trying his best to force his way into the starting line-up, Rookie or not.

Edit: Actually he has been starting, but I think Ray is stil considered the starting PG, correct?

So as long as DJ and Ray each shoot 8 for 11 every game, we are set!!!

We really need some help down low. For a guy built like a brick ****house, Mek is not strong with the ball at all. We shot ~55% we should've won by 20.

Sorry to throw cold water on the win. I just don't want to get too excited until they put a few together.

Welcome back JRich. Let's take it to the Raptors on Weds.

Great win, but let's be frank. This pathetic front line production cannot continue. Okafor just has no excuse, does he? His contributions are weak, and it's clear he has some severe limitations offensively. Maybe some day he can get complimented with a quality big that will make his typical 9 points and 8 or 9 rebounds seem like a quality part of a good mix.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Went to the game and had some thoughts....

I didn't hear anyone booing Ajinca during his 3rd Quarter melt down. There were lots of "ooooohs" though from all around. Jinx was so upset with himself that he was nearly crying by the time he got back to the bench. Most of the Bobcats and especially Coach Brown huddled up to him though and gave him lots of encouragement. It was classy of LB not to pull him out and it gave Lexi the opportunity to make a jumper, before sitting down. The guy is really not ready yet, but thats not his fault.

Okafor was truly horrible handling the ball, especially in the first half, but made some nice shots in the 2nd. His defense though shouldn't be overlooked. He did a very solid job on both Brand and Dalembert; whichever he needed to guard. He's actually been guarding the PF's much much better than last year....but man those hands!

I was hopeful that Hollins' PT would prove helpful, but both he and Ajinca were pretty useless on interior defense. Its bad enough letting much smaller guys dribble by you, but terrible that you can't even remotely interfere with their inside shot....pretty bad.

As has been said...DJ and Felton were phenomenal. My belief in DJ hasn't been strong, but I'm being converted. That kid is intense. Someone mentioned that Felton never smiles....well mostly true; but DJ....fuhgetaboutit...that kid never ever even remotely looks happy or satisfied. He's one serious baller I guess.

Kudos to Ammo on a very nice all around game. I'm far from a convert on Adam; but its great to see him contribute like he did tonight. Very nice handles and some sweet passes. Not a burden at all out there.

How on earth our "middle 3" handled the Sixers middle 3 of Iguodala, Young and Brand is completely beyond me. Maybe it was just an off night for them. But our speed and switching defense had to help keep them off balance. Young was pretty much a nonentity, and Iggy didn't really hurt us as near as bad as I feared he would (well except for that 3 over Felts at the 1st Q buzzer; but that can happen to anybody on any simple switch).

Can't get too excited about this. It's still the Bobcats; and the Raptors are next in Toronto. But the boys worked their butts off tonite. Good game guys; thoroughly enjoyed it.

i really like shannon. i mean, we all know he's gonna shot everytime he touches it, but this team needs a player like that. somebody that just say's f it, i'm gonna score.

i'm gonna call him star trek, cause dude is a black hole.

and poor dirt bike... he looked like he wanted to crawl under the floor and die after that 3rd quarter. kudos for knocking down the jumper though. he really needs some nbdl time.
