Show, the thread was about what would happen if Oklahoma St beats the Sooners. It was hypothetical situation.

The point remains, if the Sooners lose this weekend, Tech would play for the Big 12 title.

You kept arguing that no matter if its a 2,3,4 way tie, the BCS would determine the winner which is not true in the case of a 2 way tie.

By the way Lake, this is how Tech could move up to #2 if the sooners lose this week end.

They'd pass Oklahoma(obviously since they'd have 2 losses) 1 spot up

After beating a ranked Mizzouri, they would jump the following teams:
Texas: since Tech is the Big 12 champ and beat them h2h. 1 spot up
Loser of Bama and Fl game: Bama would have 1 loss, but a weaker schedule, Fl would have 2 losses. 1 spot up
Penn State: Penn doesn't play a conference title game, impressive win over Mizz and winning the toughest conference in College football would move them up. 1 spot up
USC: SC also has no conference title game. That extra win over a ranked team would allow tech to jump USC. 1 spot up

That's 5 spots Lske. So yeah, I think Tech would play for the NC in the case the Sooners lose this week end

I still think USC's best hope is to have Oklahoma lose this weekend and the voters find USC sexy and put them in the title game. I wouldn't be surprised if that happenned
