This team is not a playoff team. Both lines are crappy. Our LBs are crap. We have very few play makers.

Well, on the bright side, the Packers probably only need 4 wins to win this division. They should beat the Texans and the Lions. They just need two wins out of this group: Bears, Jacksonville, Panthers.

We have good pass defense numbers because we play in the NFC North where Kyle Orton looks like a Pro Bowler.

No I predict that the Bears go 10-6. They have an easy path.

Not to belabor the point, but:

Kornheiser stuck on No. 4

Posted: Nov. 24, 2008 11:14 p.m.

When the Green Bay Packers played the Minnesota Vikings in the first game of the season on "Monday Night Football," ESPN analyst Tony Kornheiser had a preoccupation during the telecast.

Throughout the telecast, he talked more about a player not participating in the game than anyone on the field.

On and on and on Kornheiser went about the departure of Brett Favre to the New York Jets.

Now with the Packers playing the New Orleans Saints in Week 12 on "Monday Night Football," the topic of Favre's departure was still on Kornheiser's mind.

He was not as obsessive about it as he was in Week 1, but it was a major feature of his commentary Monday night.

"This is the great gamble of the 2008 season - the Packers cutting loose Brett Favre and going to Aaron Rodgers," Kornheiser said in the first quarter. "It's the Sarah Palin moment with John McCain."

In the second quarter, Kornheiser mentioned how well Favre played against the Tennessee Titans and that Favre is on a playoff-bound team.

Later, he talked about the pressure facing Rodgers, not only to replace Favre, but to live up to the expectations a 13-3 season placed on him.

But analyst Ron Jaworski was not buying all that Kornheiser was selling about the kinds of pressures facing Rodgers.

"Aaron Rodgers, every time he goes out, he competes against the other quarterback and he competes against Brett Favre," Kornheiser said. "There is not only Drew Brees to worry about, there's Favre, too."

"I think that is ridiculous," Jaworski said. "I think it is an absolutely ridiculous statement. When you are a quarterback, your focus is on your opponent."

Kornheiser insisted.

"I don't mean consciously, I mean subconsciously," Kornheiser said.

"I don't think so," Jaworski said. "You have to focus on what you have to do. He doesn't care what Drew Brees is doing, or Brett Favre. He's worried about his job."

Kornheiser sounded a bit wounded.

"Well, thanks for ruining my . . . whole metaphor," Kornheiser said.

Someone needs to explain to me how Frost keeps his job? He constantly kicks low line drive punts and his average would be much worse than it is on the year if Frost hadn't got so lucky by a bunch landing in front of the returner and rolling for extra yards. It's almost like the guy has compromising picture of Thompson that Frost is using as blackmail so he won't get waived.

I essentially lost it when we rushed 3 on that 3rd and 15. Before that play I was begging to bring 4 or 5.

Sanders needs to go.
