Lawrence Frank: Contract status

Post#1 » by reck0n3r » Mon Nov 24, 2008 12:24 am

How much longer does he have remaining on his contract? I saw that he signed an extension last season, but I can't find anything that mentions how long its for.

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Thanks.

He obviously understands our roster better than sam mitchell does. Good enough reason for me. :)

Well come on...look who they have at their sideline.

But if they want Frank so bad, I'm willing to trade (give) him away.

here's a situation where you think you have it bad and then somebody wants your coach...I guess it could be worse...

Come on guys youre just not being fair anymore.
Yeah last year Frank was terrible, god cant describe how horrible he was but we as fans have to admit that he's doing a really solid job this year leading this team which completley lacks experience.
He built/copied a great offense that works really well on our guys and drew up some pretty damn amazing plays and yeah while his rotations could still use some work (still much better than last year's) he's done a damn good job so far.

That being said all the hatred Ive gathered for this guy because of last year's complete incompitence has consumed me and make's me want us to give him away for free to the first taker.

I cant agree. He is still crappy. One game doesnt change the fact. 3 games either.

Frank's substitution paterns still suck. He doesnt know what he has. Simmons is a spot up shooter. He keeps playing Najera because he thinks Najera is going to do a better job simply based on experience. That line up the cut the 18 deficit the other day was because Harris was sick and was ready to get back into the game.

Frank sucks. He is not the coach for the future of this team.

Haters. I still maintain that Lawrence Frank is an average NBA coach, he has his flaws but hell be happy we don't have freaking Don Nelson.

That guy would have Maurice Ager as our starting point guard...

A year ago I would have done it for an eighth.

At the moment, I'm pleased with him. Too much Najera for my tastes but I was saying the same about Bobby Simmons two weeks ago and he's starting to produce. Maybe our Latino friend will start making those corner 3s he loves to take so much and make Frank look smart for playing him.

I give him a lot of credit for running Kiki's system. I get the sense that this isn't his ideal kind of team, but he's making it work and the team is obviously enjoying the freedom to shoot anywhere at any time.
