Easy schedule-(next) last 14 games!!!

Post#1 » by klemen4 » Tue Nov 25, 2008 1:10 pm

We now stand at 13/2 and have easy schedule for the next 14 games, then there will be first real test - west coast 4 games trip:

Lets look at the following 14 games:

10 home games
4 away games

Wed 26 vs Golden State
Fri 28 vs Philadelphia
Sat 29 @ Charlotte

Mon 01 vs Orlando
Wed 03 vs Indiana
Fri 05 vs Portland
Sun 07 @ Indiana
Thu 11 @ Washington
Fri 12 vs New Orleans
Mon 15 vs Utah
Wed 17 @ Atlanta
Fri 19 vs Chicago
Sun 21 vs New York
Tue 23 vs Philadelphia

Home games:
We will have a few solid teams like Orl, New Orl. and Utah, but based on our home domination I expect 1 loss.

Away games:
Only 4 games, Charlotte and Washington should be easy, Indiana is payback time, so Atlanta seems like the only hard game. So we can expect 3/1 record

The final record of the next 14 games should be 12/2...putting us at 25/4.

Your opinion?

Than there is first west coast trip:
Thu 25 @ LA Lakers
Fri 26 @ Golden State
Sun 28 @ Sacramento
Tue 30 @ Portland

About a week ago I figured 25-4 going into the Laker game.

Which is what you figure.

Which is 12-2 over the next 14 games.

I would worry more about these so called "easy" games. Remember the two games that we were supposed to win, Denver & Memphis?

there is no easy game in the nba. Indiana was any easy game and that was the team's worst loss.

I think you mean Denver & Indiana. Celtics haven't played Memphis yet. :D

^^^Dang, you beat me to it.

Every one of those games is winnable. We just need to keep the focus, but our focus HAS been better the last few games...I think we'll go 12-2 through this stretch.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Last year at this time we were 13-2, same as today. We then went on a hell of a run to get to 29-3.

I think we ended up winning 18 or 19 in that run last year...

I wouldn't rule it out again this year...

I don't see any games I would consider "easy". Golden State has the type of team that always gives the Cs trouble. Those guys can come in free and loose and just shoot the lights out on us. Portland is going to give the Cs a game. Also the Cs have a tough 3 games in a row with N.O. Utah and Atlanta. So where you see an "easy" schedule I see a tough schedule with ever team gunning to take the Cs out. So the Cs have to be on there A game and just take one game at a time.

I count at least 7 hard games.

IND
ORL
POR
IND
NO
UT
ATL

in the the order they are played. We already lost to IND this year. ORL is tough and we know ATL will play us hard. I still say by far #1 in L come playoff time. Remember the celts get everyones A game now that they are champs.

If we lose more than 2 games I will be very annoyed.

Less than 1 is okay.

GS will be an easy game because of when you are catching us. It will be *extremely* easy. If you don't win by 20+, you need to be concerned.

I jsut think that IND already kicked our ass this year. ORl was the first to really do it last year. Utah smoked us in BOS last year. Everyone know about ATL and the struggles in the playoffs and the first game this year came down to a last second shot. We can still win everyone of those game but it wont be easy.

I think we should be able to go 12-2 during this stretch...I'll be shocked if we lose more than 3 games during it.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Its a little hard to tell which are the decent teams yet. An unusually high number of rookies have been among the most productive members of their respective teams making it hard to gague if some teams are better than they look on paper.

It doesn't seem that easy to me.

Philly, Orlando, Portland and NO are all a great deal more talented then your giving them credit for.

Yeah, Orlando's very strong and they have those long-distance big men that pull the Celtics' signature defense apart.
