Week 13 Start/Sit

Post#1 » by CrookedJ » Tue Nov 25, 2008 5:35 pm

Games in 2 days . . .short week to sort **** out.

I gotta win, I'm in the last playoff spot and the guy I'm against takes it if he beats me.

My flex spot has a number of options:

- Cadilac Williams - should get touches, but he is rusty
- Le'ron McClain - good matchup ( Cin) but does he get touches?
- Jerius Norwood - could be a shootout game vs SD
- Macolm Floyd - ditto, plus I have Rivers as my QB so theres the combo . .but he is not a top option

Hmm..assuming it's not a PPR league I would go McClain or Norwood and even though I'd prefer to stay away from baltimores RB's as the touches change on a weekly basis I liked what I saw from McClain last week and may roll the dice with him.

Dunn will remain the starting RB for Tampa in the short term so while I think they'll try to get Williams involved I don't see him making a huge impact right now.

Thanks . . .Yeah not PPR . . I do have McClain as the starter for now. I have to believe that Baltimore will get a nice lead and may be running a lot. Am nervous about his touches, but its not like any of my other flex options guys are starters.

I'm in two leagues and have all but qualified in both.. as long as I don't sit my entire team due to tiebreaks I'm in but have yet to get the * of a guarenteed playoff spot

Who do you like better this week: PPR League: Berrian vs Da Bears or Lance Moore vs Da Bucs

I would go MJD, Addai, and Brown in that order....I'd consider Dunn too though. I think Jacobs will be back and even if not Wash is pretty good at run D, Stewart is too inconsistant.

I'd probably go Lance Moore.....Berrian may do well vs his old team at home, but he only gets 2-3 catches a game usually....Moore should see more...no pun intended  I'd start Berrian if it weren't a PPR league cause I think he'll do good from here on out with his light schedule.

I just found out I made a playoff spot in my division. I win the tie breaker already. In my other league I have to win and the guy right behind me has to lose, or else it goes to total points and he's up on me. Gonna be exciting!

Got a tough decision I can't make as far as my QBs.

McNabb at home vs. Cards
Thigpen @ Oak
Delhomme @ GB

That's kind of my opinion on it. Thigpen is probably "safe". He won't have a bad game, but he won't have a great game. Jake I think can have a good game, but also a bad game (ugh, that game against Oakland really killed me. I wouldn't be in a positio to fight for the playoff spot had I played McNabb vs the Giants instead of Jake against the Raiders). McNabb has the ability to blow up, but also the chance of completely stinking it up lol.

Hope you played Donovan! Westbrook sure made up for a few bad weeks for me.

Who would you start? I'm starting Roddy white vs SD, but got to choose two: Lance Moore, Colston vs Tampa Bay or Anthony Gonzalez vs Cleveland...Moore is obvious start since he's been tearing it up but don't know if Colston will put up/score again this week.

Also I'm undecided at QB: Garrard@Houston-MNF or Cutler@NYJets???

I'm having so much trouble with Deangelo Williams.

I have AP who is a must start but then It's either Ronnie Brown or Williams.

I'm just so iffy on William, i think if I'll start him he'll have a bad day. And of course I bench him for Brown and look what it got me. Eh I won this week so that's fine.

I went with Donovan :D

My team blew up ridiculously. Donovan, Deangelo, Chris Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald. 12 TDs with those four players alone.

Course, I fear they'll get cold next week due to matchups.
