Would you trade Rondo for Rose straight up right now?

Tough call..I haven't seen enough of Rose to judge his playmaking ability...and we don't need a shoot-first PG when the Big 3 need touches...tough decision....

But probably, yeah...

Bro...that's not a tough call. Rose is a generational talent.

By next season, Rose may be the best PG in the L.

Is the OP even a celtics fan? :D I think he is just bragging about rose. Which is cool, he's a great player.

He's not shoot-first PG, just because he can attack as well as anybody and his teammates suck big time.

Two of my favorite players, Rondo and Rose, tbh.

Im a big Rondo fan but i have to respect Rose's Talent and potential. I would take rose over rondo and thats not disrespect to rondo because rose is a damn good player and is most likely going to become a star pretty soon if he elevates his game.

One of the things rondo has going for him is that he is guarranteed, barring injuries to our team, to be in the spotlight for one more year. After a pretty poor stretch of games Rondo has seen a pretty sharp increase in productivity. I wonder how long he can keep it up while completely eschewing the jump shot, but rondo is playing damn well right now. Rose is always going to be a great offensive player, but depite having fantastic tools I don't think he will ever develop rondo's defensive instincts.

Rose is getting the unfair reputation as shoot first. Its not really true - but I do think playing for that crappy Bulls team might hurt his development. I never liked that team even when it was supposedly good.

Deng might be a good guy but I can't believe how people wanted to move him for Pierce and such last year.. Hinrich isn't that great - and it just goes on with the Bulls. One of the more overhyped teams of the decade. Rose is the first real top notch talent they have gotten.
