You guys will be intersted in a Warrick for Luther Head swap maybe?

Maybe we can add your 2nd round pick that you gave us.

Undersized 6'3 sg shooter , who can play pg a little and attack the basket from time to time.

Was a rotational player for the last 3 years for the Rockets but got aqueezed out of the rotation with the arrival of Barry and Artest.

I don´t see memphis taking kapono´s contract without giving Jaric´s.

What about Jaric + Warrick for Kapono + filler

Jaric is a solid 1-2 backup for Jose and cía, and Warrick is a gifted offensive SF/PF

I don't think the raptors would want Warrick.
Warrick cant put the ball on the floor and thats what we need.

Warrick and a #2 to the bobcats for either Adam Morrison or Matt Carroll makes sense
2012 GMAT Christmas Edition : OKC Thunder

PG: DWill / Bayless
SG: DWade / VC / Grant Hill
SF: KD / MWP
PF: Ibaka / Landry

I think Warrick straight up for Carroll or Morrison is about right. Perhaps because Warrick is an expiring contract it offer Charlotte no protection beyond this season but Warrick offers Charlotte more this year than either Carroll or Morrison are.

As for any Toronto trades I agree that there's no way Memphis takes Kapono without giving Jaric back the other way in some sort of multiple player trade. Kapono offers nothing else than the ability to shoot well. And with Gay and Mayo getting around 37 -40 minutes a game Kapono wouldn't be seeing much time anyways so it would be better to look for a lower priced shooter.

Carroll has a pretty big contract(for what he brings to the team) and would be the same problem like Kapono, as he'd also be sitting behind Mayo, Gay and Conley/Lowry.

A guy i could see fitting this role is Steve Novak. Maybe the Clips would like their old buddy Quinton Ross back in exchange for Novak.

Another guy that could help is Matt Bonner of the Spurs, but i'm not sure if he's available and the only trade that i could make up is Crittenton + Warrick for Bonner + Mahinmi, which isn't enough for the Grizz. Though, if they'd add the rights to Tiago Splitter, i'd like this one for the Grizz.

Wallace(Grizz GM) stated on a local radio show that a trade would most likely bring in a shooter at the SF position. He was very clear that unless it was a SERIOUS talent upgrade, that the trade would bring in a vet not a young player.

My personal preference is the trade below.

Conley
Warrick
for
Outlaw
Blake

This would allow the following lineup for some good stretches of the game.
PG - Mayo
SG - Gay
SF - Outlaw
PF - Arthur
.C - Gasol2.0

Grizz wouldn't be interested in that move IMO.

i have the perfect trade based on what you guys are looking for . andres nocioni is a sf/pf who shoots the three very well. he also is gritty, on a decending contract and was coveted by your team in the offseason. how about noc and noah for darko and warrick? it works cap wise.

We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

I watched the Hornets/Nuggets game and Rasual Butler put on a good shooting display( not as good as JR Smith though). I have no idea what his contract is like but I imagine it's pretty cheap. I also think he is used to being a backup with limited playing time.

Has anyone else noticed him and whether he is a good shooter? This game at least he looked smooth and confident in his shooting.

I bet you would love to trade Kapono for essentially an expiring contract.

I can't see Wallace/Heisley making a deal that requires them to pay Noc in 2012.

in 2012 nocioni's salary will be essentially the current mle. in 2012 it will likely be under a MLE contract.
