I expect us to win this one and also expect Lopez to get another Double-Double.

We need this one cause without it there is a realistic possibility we go 0-4 for the trip. :(

Followed the game on the net, so could only see play by plays and box scores. Looks like some good bench shooting help us out. Gotta rush home now and catch 15 seconds on sportscentre. God I hate this country. lol.

ANOTHER miracle win for the Nets!! Harris and Dooling stepped up BIG time in the OT and Bobby simmons and everyone actually played well down the stretch so we can make the plays we needed. Harris is becoming a go to guy! Speaking of go to guys...BROOK LOPEZ BABY. He was so confident tonight he reminded me of a more aggressive and bigger tim duncan. When ever he made a play and scored he showed no emotion at all (very duncan-esque) and he went back down the court and played defense. Good win, we needed it.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and all your families. The food is going to taste a lot better tomorrow because of this win lol Good night!

^^Same dude..

I actually didn't watch the 4th quater, I was too disgusted thinking we were gonna lose the game...

I did catch overtime though, i'm glad we won...

Sean Williams has to be the leaste efective player on this roster. Poor rebounder, no offensive game, mediocre man to man defense and gives stupid fouls every minute and half.. I rather play Stro at this point...

ugh...neither team wanted to win that game ! Nets blow a comfortable lead & Salmons goes super unclutch with FT's when the game was on the line. Frustrating for fans of both teams i'm sure.

Vince - as someone agonizingly familiar with it I'm pretty sure VC just got cramps. I actually wear leg sleeves to try & avoid them but they are super painful & even if I can "stretch" it out it doesn't take long for cramp to hit again with any serious motion (constant stop & go action aggravates it for me).
You can tell how age has effected VC this game - on a back-to-back he didn't have alot of lift and threw up some high difficulty (and dumb) shots right in the paint not trusting he could out jump the defenders. He was the steady force for the Nets all game & just long enough until Harris decided to show up. I already forget but I think Frank changed up the first subs for VC/Devin...flipped it and VC played more ..not sure what that was about. Vince was asked to do too much today - had to score / had to run offense alot / was chasing down Salmons & only 3 assists but I swear he should have had close to 7-8+ with the amount of open shots he was setting up for his teammates.

Gutsy stuff by Devin. Struggled with his shot (but kept going with it...) but hit huge 3 and carried the Nets to victory with great play down the stretch including great hustle to seriously challenge a Jackson 3 that pretty much sealed the game.

Simmons played pretty solid D but he had some real brainfarts when he decided to shoot...which leads to Yi...twice he picked up his dribble, had defense close on him & still decided to chuck flatfooted jumpers. Throw it back to your backcourt and reset the bloody play.

Good Dooling showed up today (for the most part). Hit huge shots for the Nets and just an all-around solid game.

Anderson really wanted to impress the home team...he was looking for his alot. Hit them but it seemed forced & outside of the team gameplan.

Gotta say Salmons is a handful out there & I was actually impressed by a few of the Kings. Udrih actually kept Devin out of the paint & had him settle trying to shoot over him + he's energy & constant dribble on the offensive end, tries to force things a bit too much for my liking but looked good out there. Miller after all this time is still doing his thing (same w/ Jackson). Those old Kings teams were fun to watch. Hawes for a rook shows some promise..long & athletic enough & I was shocked when he hit that 3 - didn't know he had range out that far.

Lopez is already becoming a steady producer for the Nets. Threw down one today (different from Lakers game) so he's learning.

It's probably my Nets bias but this year they (esp. young guys and that might be a factor) get alot of bump fouls called against them.

Game almost feels like a loss the way the Nets seemed to be in cruise control then unraveled. Another awful 3rd quarter by the Nets - so maddening. Good to see the Nets pick up a win w/o VC, should make his hammy feel better !

Even as Boone's greatest fan I have to say... Brook Lopez MUST start every game of the season, no ifs, ands, or buts.

Also in regards to Yi... I liked the fact that he was cheering on his teammates while on the bench, it showed that he has a good attitude but...

I think he might end up being the Chinese Tim Thomas. He's immensely talented and shows flashes of greatness but there seem to be large periods of indifference when he's on the court...

The game never should have gone to OT, but I guess no lead is safe when you're the worst defensive team in the league !

On one last note... To those Frank haters be happy we don't have Reggie Theus (sp?) as our coach, what a joke.

Yep no doubt about it, Lopez has to start until the end of the season this kid is just soo damn talented and is already supplying the goods, its really a shame we got him after we broke up the big 3 but ohhh well, we would have never gotten anywhere close to a talent like him with JKidd and RJ here keeping us barely out of the lottery.

You know people may keep asking how in god's hell are we a .500 team and 6th in the Eastern conference and I have a simple answer to that question.

This team has one major advantage over last year's team: this one actually has heart and the will to win.
Look at the Toronto game and now this one, 2 games that we should have by all right's lost and we came back with very clutch plays to win them.
What this team lacks in talent (well we actually have plenty of that but in very young guys) and experince they definately make up with heart and swagger you wont see Vince or Harris throwing their arms in the air in a blowout or if the other team makes a run like our last captain.

Well i think the biggest difference for you guys is 2 things....

1. Size in the paint.
2. Devin Harris.

You actually have big bodies in the paint that can throw away a few shots a game. And big bodies that can really score.

And you finally have a PG that score the basketball. Kidd used to take a lot of shots, but ever since he basically stopped shooting, your team could never blow anyone away. D Harris is just a beast and can get in the lane any time he wants. That's a HUGE asset.

very good game, and win, shouldnt reach over-time but i wont complain, Frank has doin a better job, With Boone, i like and all but Brooksy is the real deal, a dbl-dbl machine, i think he will be better than bynum, Harris is a beast( i thank mark cuban's stupiditey on that one) this team is clutch too and shows heart, can make shots and are fundmantelly sound

still shaky on the defense

LOPEZ is a monster, steal at the 10th pick def, a domminat force down the road,

another thing is that our paint defense is good, seeing 2 7footers defenitely affects opposing players

ok nets watchers, i cant watch the nets, what is brooks game post moves? rebound and score? jumpshots? move and dunk?

we can defenitely be a playofff team we should be really 10-4 we could have one the two aganistthe pacers and we had miami if harris was there its awin, but injuries happen...

Lopez best post move has been his jump hook from the middle..it's very impressive actually, since he's pretty far from the basket when he does it..he's been using that one consistently..I'd still like to see him fight for deeper position more often..

he has a decent jumper..not consistent yet, but he can punish teams that leave him open from there..

he's also definitely a big target when the Nets perimeter guys penetrate..he's so long and big, that he can easily get alley-oops over the defense once his defender goes to help..he's been getting a number of those, and getting involved on the offensive glass, leading to putbacks..

nice to see..Yi on the other hand, is just frustrating..
