Surprised this was never posted but anyway I found an article on yahoo about what Nash said about Shaq...

"It sure looks like we're just a little too reliant on Shaq. We're just not quite comfortable playing without him the way we used to play because we spend so much time trying to incorporate him. Terry [Porter]'s been working with us and trying to get us to get back to doing some of the things we used to do, things that we're good at, when he's not on the floor."

Nash is right, and he isn't "lashing out" to the media at all, he's just stating the obvious.

yeah what BBF said - where does he "lash out"?

He's merely saying that Porter's offense revolves around Shaq, and we don't seem to know what to do when he's not on the floor

Reminds me of when I worked for the paper here in Vancouver. After it snowed one afternoon, which it does every few years here, generally about two inches that last most of a day, our headline the next morning was

WHITE HELL!
