Do I start Reggie Bush this week?

Post#1 » by Sinistar6 » Wed Nov 26, 2008 9:44 pm

If I start him I sit Tim Hightower and Kevin Smith.

Not sure what role he will have in the offense but Im excited to see what the saints do with him in the lineup after the pummeling they gave the Pack. Although Brees has so many weapons and Bush coming back maybe I should sit him a week to see what role he has. What would you do?

He is going to be a gametime decision again most likely.. If he plays I'd start him for sure in a PPR league.. in a non PPR league I may wait another week even if he does play

I have Bush and I think I'm going to sit him. I might still change my mind later, but he is going to go against the Bucs (away too IIRC). But Tim Hightower hasn't exactly been doing too great (even with the two TDs last week) and Smith is going against Tennessee.

I just might start Bush if I was you.

So new week, same question is Reggie Bush a starter?

I am starting him tomorrow ( flex) , along with Pierre Thomas ( #2 rb, Westbrook as #1)

My other viable option is McClain, but I think I'm gonna roll the dice on both Saints again. This could be a real high scoring game I think, and that Pitt/Bal game doens't seem too promising TD wise. I'm really overmatched this week, and need to play high risk high reward.

I'd play Bush. I wouldn't hinge my playoff hopes on that Baltimore RB carousel. Plus going against the #1 defense in the game? I'd go Reggie.

if you go with hightower, they still havent implemented(i dont think) the suspension of the williams' in the middle of that minnesota defense. that ranks them where they should be #1 or #2 in the league. i would not start any running back against minnesotas front. reggie bush is playing chicago i believe this week, but he has versatility. so although he may not get it on the run, he gets the passes out of the backfield and he has history vs. the chicago defense. and anyone attempting to guard him in space is a dangerous endeavor.

The Minny suspensions are all blocked by some kind of court injunction at the moment. Why is it that the NFL suspends people and they fight it and fight it for weeks, whereas other leagues suspend guys and they're out right away?

This happened earlier in the year when Matt Jones got suspended, I was gonna pick him up but did not since he was suspended. Then my opponent the next week is playing him against me, and he went on to play until Jax was eliminated from contention. Makes suspensions pretty meaningless.
