Slam is a joke with the new editor. But the cover is cool--it's nice to see Deron get some recognition.

That's not an insult, it's just factual.

Yeap, this is a factor to be considered. Politics of the thing are the only issue allowing Yao Ming to be an All Star... he's really just an average basketball player.... sorry people of the Great Wall.... [just being polite about the last one... Ming fan's are a very huge bunch more than Jazz fans... and I do not have the time to read 200 million mad responses!!]

I don't know about that. When healthy Yao is right up there with Howard as the best center in the league. Unless he's playing Utah, in which case he's just an average player.

This is the only active thread....Is Deron playing both games in the back to back?

He is definitely playing tonight, I think it depends on the minutes he plays tonight. If he plays 30+ I doubt he plays tomorrow. If he only has to play 25 or so and the Jazz win in a blow out I bet you see him again tomorrow.

The problem is against New Jersey Deron would be going up against Devin Harris who is having a huge year and makes his living off of his incredible speed. Deron has said his ability to move isn't quite up to where he wants it to be yet so defender Harris could be a real issue if he isn't at 100%.

But still, if he plays less then 30 minutes to night I bet he plays tomorrow.
