Javaris Crittenton we need him for our future depth.

Post#1 » by wadero » Thu Nov 27, 2008 5:50 pm

Memphis is looking for a shooter why dont we send Head to memphis for Crittenton. He and brooks could be a great tandom for the future. I know we are playing for a ring this year but we also need to build talent for the future. Alston aint going to be here for ever and I dont know if Brooks is a full time starter. Any thoughts http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=4839827

I don't think he's a solution for the future. He's the guard version of Stromile Swift and the dumbest guard I have seen in years.

Luther Head for Crittenton. I think Memphis may want Brooks.

Yeah I'm not sure if we could land him for just Head, we might have to throw in a 2nd or they might want Brooks. However I really like his potential. If we could get him for Luther, I would be all for it,

I thought Memphis was high on Crittenton? I would trade Luther for a bag of peanuts at this point though.

^^^ Care to find a starting point guard who shoots worst % than Alston? Teams don't really need to guard him even if he's wide open. They know he can't knock 'em down. They would much rather putting the double team on Tmac/Yao.

Micheal Conley (didnt look it up) but im quite sure.

Also Alston might not be the best starting PG in the league but he does help us out. If we had him most of the playoffs last year it could be possible that we won that series. Btw i will look at the shooting % of other starting guards since u seem to be a stats type of person.

Yeah, I did this thread topic a little while back and recieved the same negative responses. I would like to get him if Morey feels like he can defend and run the point. If not I'm all for bringing back Darryl Strawberry Jr if we clear some cap room.
