The Ronnie Price thread.

Post#1 » by DelaneyRudd » Sat Nov 29, 2008 2:16 am

I would like to see better half court offense, but it's nice to have a guy who can break and get off the ground. I am just waiting for him to embarrass someone like he did Boozer when he was a King.

i love ronnie price, he may not be our best backup point guard, but he is definitely my favorite. this guy was born to be a jazz man, hes got a great attitude. I do hope he improves his game, i can see this guy being here for years to come, if he does.

He's been a ton better with Deron back in the line up. His energy works very well on the bench, it really helps having AK be a distributor next to him, covers his weaknesses up a lot.

He's making it easier for us to let go of Knight next offseason if we have to.... And man can he jump.... I have to agree about the half court offense, he needs to learn how to controll the flow of the game a bit better, and he also needs to hit a better percentage of his threes. Despite those flaws though I am enjoying having him on the team.

I still prefer Knight by a longshot, but Price has been playing better every game. Good for him.. and good for us.

Roonie Price is a nice "change of pace" player, but he's a horrible point guard, he's much better playing off the ball........ He's also, despite his impressive jumping ability, a terrible finisher around the rim........ If it's not a wide open dunk he's liable to miss it........ If he was a little taller he might have made a decent 2-guard........

If Ronnie was 6-4 he would be Sloan's wet dream.

With Harpring playing well, I can't imagine Ronnie getting too many minutes. Korver is basically the worst player getting minutes now, and we need his "aura" to help the system.

With Deron and Brevin playing, I don't miss Price minutes.

I like Price in very short spurts. He's a good energy-hustle guy but Knight is the better back-up PG.
