Along with meeting President Bush in the East Room of the White House, the team is expected to visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The one-day visit to Washington is the latest and most visible perk for winning Super Bowl XLI in February.
"It's something that goes with the territory,'' coach Tony Dungy said. "We're looking forward to getting the treatment champions get, but more than anything we're honored to be representing the National Football League and the city of Indianapolis at the White House.
"I'm looking forward to many of our guys probably seeing the White House for the first time. I've been there a couple of times, but it's going to be a thrill for all of us.''
