Ugh, these close losses are sobering. The small breaks that went our way last season have gone against us this season. That's the NFL, I guess.

Three games stand out:

1. Titans
2. Vikings
3. Panthers

One thing stands out to me about all three games. We played it conservative in the red zone, keeping the games closer, and in the end ended up losing by just a few points.

Not using play action on the goal line when it hard worked all day is just mind numbing to me.

But that is what you get when you play it conservative in the NFL.

At least you have the satisfaction of knowing it was Rodgers who shot you in the foot and not Favre

What the **** are you talking about? If we had a special teams that could cover worth a damn, Rodgers isn't in a potential game winning drive.

It aint about Rodgers/Favre really, but maybe its time to admit that the endless criticism Favre received in a 13-3 season for "taking too many risks" seems a little silly now.

Considering alot of those same people are ripping MM's conservative play calling now. Which they are absolutely right to do, IMO.

There's a lot of blame to go around. Special teams, play calling and yes Rodgers.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Rodgers?...the guy who gave them 2 leads in the 4th quarter?? It is special teams and defense, like usual....plus the 1 play that has worked all season, the QB sneal was not used on second or 3rd down inside the 1 yard line.

Rodgers deserves zero blame for this one. He dominated the second half, and put 31 points on the board against a great defense. Then you have people whining about his late pick, despite the fact that the chance we were driving over 80 yards for a TD in less than a minute and a half was slim to none.

The DL can't rush the passer or stop the run, and the D overall cannot make the big stop. That is why we have continually lost close games. When the D needs to make a stop, it doesn't.

The only knock on the resume so far this year with Rodgers for me is he's had a couple opportunities late in games to come up with game winning or tying drives and he hasn't been able to do so, but it does need to be noted that there were failures by other players in those drives and Crosby missed FG vs the Vikes.

Overall though, any objective Packer fan has to feel good about Aaron as the future at QB
