Kiffin gone?

Post#1 » by craig01 » Tue Dec 2, 2008 12:47 am

looks like the bread and butter of the Buc's coaching staff is leaving for the Smokies to join his son, Lane Kiffin, at Tennessee.

Nothing official, but it will be soon.

Good luck.

IMO I think that this would be a bad move by Monte Kiffin. He has such a good job with the Bucs and how long is Lane Kiffin going to hang around and if that is his reason for going it is a bad move. I don't know but that is just my opinion. O and first the rumors about Gruden now Kiffin.

The only thing is, is that Kiffin is long in the tooth, and may want to get Jr off to a good start.

Sr has made enough money.........

I'd have to say, as a big fan of the Bucs and Monte's... I'd do the same thing (not that I know anything about it actually happening).

Monte's gotta be headed out the door sometime in the near future... in college, tenure is a lot longer than the pro's... if you're doing decent and you're liked, you'll get to stay... so he should probably be able to stay as long as he wants with his son.

In any case, I'd be pretty sad to see the father of the tampa 2 step out of his current position.
